But they have been telling you to be patient, complaining about the lack of updates won't make it come faster. Why not just be patient for your own sanity? One thing that is guaranteed is that the update will come. Relax and don't get yourself worked up for nothing.
No one said be patient oo, the attack was coming from all angle as tho complaining is against the rule of the thread, this is extremely bad, when i praise xaiomi phone then for their speaker with good sound quality, they were all liking my comments as if i send them, let's be rationale, it's almost impossible to satisfy human 100%,someone even said my complain will affect other people which simply shows the thread is mainly to promote xiaomi, even jumia page gan dem dey complain, nobody attacks them

THE OLD FONT CHANGING HACK IS BACK

In times past there used to be a way to change a font without changing region, it stopped after a theme app update for a while
PROS
You won't change region
Cons
You won't have a fonts panel and freedom of checking out new and trending fonts.

To change font
1. Search the exact name of font if you have any in mind, download and apply
2. Search any of the following parameters
a. Aafont
b. Moby fonts
c. Free

Click on more to display more of the font, pick your choice, download and apply.

Thank you for your time.

But let's be honest Xiaomi no dey try for Redmi Note 8
They just abandoned the phone, even Redmi Note 7 has gotten Android 10 so i quite understand the pain of Redmi Note 8 users. I know the update will eventually come but waiting can be tiring sometimes.

Mbok, let anybody that wants to complain be. If it doesn't sit well with you, just scroll on. Life is not that hard.

There is a reason these updates are called stable updates and not beta updates. Maybe some people are just ignorant of this. It's a major major update from miui 11 to miui 12. Different even from what we had from 9-10 or 10 - 11, from design to animations and so lot more. It's just so massive and the team can't afford to send out a half-baked update because it would be met with even more outrage.

If you really want updates, unlock bootloader and flash the Chinese beta Rom or a custom beta Rom like Xiaomi.EU or miui mix so that you can get full updates every week so far you have data to use.

I'm very sure there's a good reason that Gingko haven't received that update. If they send out an update today and it destroys just 1% of the device globally, these same people clamoring for the update will be the one shouting "Crucify them, crucify them". Like someone said up there, that's the difference between stable updates and developer Rom updates. I don't believe that any of the devices have been neglected.

My own is that if you are not satisfied with your Xiaomi phones because of updates, sell it. Period. Some of the people that are complaining are coming from phones that if you need updates, u buy a new phones.

Just wait for it before late September your phone should Get it...

Don't bother complaining here some people here worship Xiaomi and can defend it till death..

Sad truth is a Chinese man own the company not Nigerian...

As in ehn. The way some people here worship xaiomi is as if it doesn't have any shortcomings. You put down your dissatisfaction with one or two things with your device, you get attack and criticism of different kinds. If you are satisfied with your own device, lack of update, fine! That's cool. You can't expect everyone to like what you are OK with. You become rude and toxic Untop ordinary complain wey you get right to do. Haba! It's so annoying

Complaints about updates will get your post closed or deleted on most OEM community app, maybe because you are new to xiaomi that's why you are worried about lack of updates, the update will come, it is for you to not get yourself worked up (unless your phone is unusable)over something you can not control.

Oga sell your fone or throw it in a canal if u cant wait for updates. Its getting irritating seeing your rants. If u have money, buy a brand that gets updates as fast as u want. Grow up!

1. I want to ask a question. You haul insults but don't want to be insulted, what does that make you?
Words referenced are "Sets of miscreants"

2. Why will Xiaomi be disappointed at people that they are not paying?

If you need to refresh the purpose of this thread check page one.

If you want to complain and rant bitterly for those Xiaomi have paid to look at complaints download The Mi community app access the global community and Rant.
