HumanCalc:Young man, calm down! You are engaging someone who has finished secondary school long before you started schooling! Which of these did you attend, elementary school or middle school? This was when it started. https://www.nairaland.com/1461997/osun-begins-4-5-3-educational-system |

Amotolongbo:Baba, as you can see, I am not arguing or eager to disprove whatever it is you know. I am just saying what I have noticed. And mind you, it's not about when you got out, in fact, I have more say in this matter because I was in school in that 2013. In fact, I was in jss3 and I can tell you there was nothing like that. I remember junior schools were changed to middle school and our seniors in my own public school were moved to another school entirely blah blah blah. In fact, for that reason, instead of prefects being elected among the SSS3 students, it was selected among jss3 since our seniors had been moved. So I know what I am saying. I have been asking all the people I know that got out of Public school recently if they noticed 453 in their school including the primary students and they all have been saying no. But as I have said, I might be missing something. |

HumanCalc:You could have been carried away by those babes around you then ![]() The system introduced then was 4-5-3 4years in elementary school 5years in middle school 3years in high school. Think about this, before Aregbesola’s introduction of the system, students transit from JSS 3 to SSS 1 in the same school(some may leave for another school anyway), except for those that will have to attend the Schools of Science then. Isn’t it? You can ask your elders this sir. Did you bother looking back at how many juniors you had behind you while in JSS 3 if Aregbesola had introduced the system? Obviously, you would have more than the known JSS1 and JSS2 students before you. There are two classes before them in the same middle school. Ask the elementary school students what class do they transit to another higher school (middle), they will tell you class 4. I’m sorry i don’t know the name they call the classes cos they are alien to us. You might have not understood this that time because you were in JSS3, the terminal class transiting to the regular pattern of Nigerian system. Had you been in JSS 1 then, you would feel the change |
