(In a fun-filled interpretation)
The Most High will give your enemies chance to display their talents and skills, then, The Mighty One of Yisrael will let them know who is in charge.
Look at Joseph and His Brothers
Look at David and Saul
Look at Israel and Egypt
Look at Yahusha(which christians calls Jesus) and his enemies
Look at Daniel in the Lion's Den
Look at Paul and Silas in the prison. Etc.

Those who hate you will be clothed with shame, and the tents of the wicked shall be no more.
Iyoḇ (Job) 8:22

Anyone who follows the Torah of our Abba and surrenders their all to Him, will be loved by The Most High.

Shalom

GOD'S WORD® Translation
You prepare a banquet for me while my enemies watch.

Good News Translation
You prepare a banquet for me, where all my enemies can see me; you welcome me as an honored guest and fill my cup to the brim.

#op, "Table" in this context means "Honor"
God will Honor & Bless you, in the presence of your enemies & they will see it.

Providing for you at the time when people thought that your God will fail you. At the time when people began to shame you. He (God) will come forth and change your situation before them and lift you up from the slumber right before them.

The story of Job and Esther will explain this perfectly.

You can read it yourself in easy English. undecided
1 The Lord is my shepherd. I will always have everything I need.
2 He gives me green pastures to lie in. He leads me by calm pools of water.
3 He restores my strength. He leads me on right paths to show that he is good.
4 Even if I walk through a valley as dark as the grave, I will not be afraid of any danger, because you are with me. Your rod and staff[d] comfort me.
5 You prepared a meal for me in front of my enemies. You welcomed me as an honored guest. My cup is full and spilling over.
6 Your goodness and mercy will be with me all my life, and I will live in the Lord’s house[f] a long, long time. - Psalm 23 vs 1 - 6
Just so you are aware, this Psalm among many others is spoken from the point of view of a man who was holy and righteous before God—none of what is contained apply to the unrighteous. Yes, David was already approved righteous by God even before He became King of Israel. undecided

It's about Jesus of Nazareth!

God prepared a table of judgement before him {Psalms 110:1-2} so that Jesus could who is the prince of peace {Isaiah 9:6} could sit as judge over all the enemies of peace! Luke 19:27

The explanation is simple!

Just look at JAGABAN coming to the last election!

We thought he won't win APC primaries but he won!

Despite Emefiele economics we thought he won't win the general elections but he won!

They called on Chukwu Okike Abiama, Eledumare, Ubanjigi and all names they could call!

His enemies even wrote letters to POTUS!

All manner of propagandas were thrown at him!

He didn't attend any school!
25% in Abuja!
Double nomination!
He is from Guinea!
He is a narcotic!
A female attended CSU!
And many more...

But the man has already been annointed with oil!

He was to be arrested before swearing in but that couldn't happen!

At tribunal he had to win as he's annointed!

Even in the presence of all his enemies he still had to win at the supreme court!

Though he walked through the valley of the shadow of death, he did fear no evil!

Romans 13:1
Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.

But Obidients still no go submit!

It is an assurance from God that even when you are in problem or facing difficulties, He will be there for you and you ll celebrate even in the presence of those that were expecting you to fail.

Remember Esther, Modecai and Hamman story

In midst of your travails, God will allow your haters, detractors, village people and enemies to witness you come through all those perils unscathed

Personal text: Jesus is not a theologian. He is God who told stories.

Why don't you pray that the holy spirit should enable you to divide it accurately.

He spake to all those holy men that wrote the books. . So He is author of the Book.

The scripture is of no private interpretation.

Thank you.

It’s talking about the kind of peace he gives you even when enemies are swarming around you. Not just peace but prosperity such that your enemies will behold and still cannot touch you but watch you as you enjoy that which he has prepared for you.
