Messi doesn't strike you as one who wants bigger wages? Are you kidding me? Messi is the only player in the world who renegotiates for a bigger pay EVERY year. Go check the records. Messi has requested for a new improved contract EVERY season for the past seven seasons.
Hmm. I didnt know that. I know his package has been bumped over the years, but both parties didnt make a big deal.

cool cool

What has messi changed in any team at all apart from barca? undecided
That's for you to answer!

Isn't it pretty obvious a tree can't make a forest?

Ronaldo hogged all the glory in Real, even though he was only as good as the team...

Has he dragged Juventus to Champions League glory like you people say he has the sole power to do?

Off your Mic, Oga!

Oh sure he deserves to be paid what he is paid for the success he has brought the club. However, Barca needs a post Messi strategy and as a Madrid fan, it gladdens my heart that they don't know what to do with or without Messi these days.

If I was Messi I would take the easy way out quit Barca immediately.

Go to City or even Bayern.

Win league titles, win the UCL.

I was his father i would bundle him out of Barca.

He should stop struggling to lift a dead club.

He should fuucck loyalty and do what every other big superstar like Ronaldo would do, flee to a more stable club.
Shut up...Ronaldo would never flee he left both manutd and real madrid on a high after winning the champions league...he never left them in crisis....so wail your wail and leave ronaldo out of this..

Take it from someone who knows, Messi is going to PSG to team up with Neymar and win the Champions League next year.

He is already an 'ancestor' in Barca... He has given them the very best of his youth, talent, and career!!!

No other club will ever enjoy Messi the same way Barca has... Facts!!!
Barca should stop being selfish then, they should allow other clubs enjoy him as well even if it's for a season.

I would love to see Messi in another club before he retires.

FIFA GOLDEN BALL ( WORLD CUP)
U20 GOLDEN BALL ( WORLD CUP)
OLYMPICS MVP ( OLYMPICS)
2 TIME COPA AMERICA MVP.

Please, mention just 1 (ONE) individual award or accolade Ronaldo won while playing for Portugal.
Just one please or you shut up .
Ronaldo was never the best player or won the MVP in any international competition, Eder scored the winning goal for Portugal on the euros , Bernaldo silva was the MVP in the UNL.
These are facts you can't twist no matter what !!!
wait oo, is the mvp award a trophy? is the golden ball award a trophy??

incase you don't know the meaning of trophies outside Spain, let me list them for you.. UCL, uefa super cup, club world cup, copa america and world cup.. now tell me which one Messi has won without neymar, iniesta and xavi..

Trophies--- Team
Awards /accolades --- Individual
So when making comparison between two players, never use 'Team ' achievements.

Josep Bican is the highest goalscorer in football history, but no one can rate him above pele because of his lack of trophies.. infact he's relatively unknown sef

That means even if a player likes, let him score and assist 100 goals every year, win all the possible individual awards, he is nothing if he does not win anything with his team

Abi you think Messi that said he would give all his ballon d'or just to win a trophy with argentina is a fool abi..

And also, I'm not here to argue who is better between Messi and cr7, but rather I only want to know how many trophies Messi has won without neymar, iniesta and xavi

Lastly, I already gave one of your fellow Messi fanboy a comprehensive lecture on this Messi individual award issue, and so I don't really have the energy to be repeating myself, so don't be annoyed if I choose not to reply any of ur upcoming mentions.. thank youu

Oga, tell messi to win the ucl without those guys.. tell him to win a trophy with argentina where those players are not his team mate... Tell him to leave spain to another country, let us see how he will fare.. simple..

In 2015, neymar helped barca to recover from a 4-0 first leg loss to progress 6-5 on aggregate.. but ever since he left, all Messi has managed to do is squander huge first leg victory.. roma, liverpool, etc.. I wonder what package he has in store for us next year

oga what about the titles he won without them?the league, copa del ray and numerous individual medal.should I remind you again that he won the ballon d'or last year for being the best player in the world. He won that without iniesta, xavi and neymar.and you said that all his achievements is because of iniesta and xavi.I have nothing else to say
messi doesn't need to prove himself elsewhere or win shit with Argentina (he is a world cup finalist and he has a golden ball medal).please clear road for the 6x ballon d'or winner

hahaha. I should have known you're suffering from badbelleism.
There's also talk of him being too influential. Best they move him on, just like madrid. We all thought madrid will collapse without ronaldo, see they're champions today.

Thats why Messi will always remain a much more inferior player to cr7... since cr7 came to juve, he's won most of the trophies in italy yet you messi fanboys will continue to bash him just because he's yet to win the ucl, but somehow its okay for messi not to win the ucl

Messi doesn't need to do shit for Argentina?.. I never expected this kind of statement from you, I swear.. so you think Messi that said he would exchange all his ballon d'or awards for an international trophy is a fool abi
Wait, lemme ask.. apart from Messi, can you tell me a single player generally regarded as the greatest of all time not to have won any trophy with their country?

Okay bros, lets assume you have an elder brother, how would you feel if he owns over 30 apartments overseas while you and the rest of ur family members are living in a rented apartment in Nigeria??

Last last, without neymar, xavi and iniesta, Messi can't win anything outside spain.. simple
No wonder he has been crying for barca to resign neymar

was it you his fanboys that said he is Mr champions league that he could win the cl with primary 6 boys
and he said he was going for a new challenge(and juventus only challenge is to win the cl),great players need their teammates to step up in games if not all their effort will be in vain.and you know he can't win d cl with this juve team same with messi.
do you know that dembele, giroud, mandanda, thauvin have all won the wc but they had little to no impact in the tournament but messi has won up to four best player of the tournament (even without winning the tournament, this should tell you something),when I argue about players I don't talk about trophies I talk about individual brilliance because a goal keeper having a bad day can let his teammates down.
Luis figo, maldini,Cruyff, eusebio, baggio, puskas didn't win any international trophy but are still regarded as greats of the game

Hahahaahahaha, I asked you to list players that are considered as the 'greatest of all times' not 'great football players'.. you could have listed okocha na, after all he too was a great player

No need to sugercoat anything bros, when you consider the caliber of players Messi has played with in Argentina, then its safe to say he's a failure with his national side if he fails to win a trophy with them

That means City will have to let go Aguero or Jesus to make room for Messi.

City are desperate to win the champions league for once. That's why they need Messi to compliment many talented midfielder they have. I think It is even better if they have to trade Aguero for him, and keep Jesus as spare tyre.

Eish! I may not be Barca fan, but I know this kid is wicked upfront. He is a supernatural #9 bro. It will be very competitive and expensive deal to land him at etihad, but he is the solution to the puzzle.

You may be right....tho he operated as a false 9 under guardiola which was arguably the best year of his Carear...but.I think playing on the wings would suit him more....he is more of a play maker than a striker...
It will be a win win situation for both party if this pull through, the problem however is the age factor and the money involved
