My elder bro after finishing secondary school he joined NPF instead. After climbing the ranks a little he was then transferred to efcc unit. He built 3houses, 2 in lagos and one in port harcourt when he was transferred there. He married a port woman and kept her in the port house, she's working in an oil company. Then he finally decided to go to school, gained admission on his first attempt, what school won't give an efcc agent admission, he really intimidated his coursemates with his venza. Fast forward today he's a graduate who's already got everything one need from education. Now he has 2 kids.


I wish these new generation will just understand and get a skill first before going to school. That's what's trending in edo state as at now. Skill first then go to school in a big boy way. Edos ate indeed wise in their own way sha.

first of all education and intelligence are two different things entirely,many educated people are not inteligent thats why nigeria or rather africa is still in the dark. intelligence is the ability to comprehend chores, education is learning to master certain chores. let people make their choice it shouldn't be a war ground between inteligence and education.

Higher School is outdated still using very old curriculum which is not valuable today.
If it's valuable after school,work go dey wait for you just like in the early 70' but reverse is the case.
Two days ago Nler graduate bought okada to start riding which implies certificate is useless.

Just get the basic secondary school
Learn one online and one offline skill.

One said it was a sheer waste of time and Money for him especially as a Nigerian. The other said after analysing everything he decided to quit but may go back later when he is Stable, in a different field.
One is Economics, the other is computer electrical Engineering, And they were both above 4.0
The first one was very brazen about it. He said he would only attend a Private Nigerian University for Connection and Business reasons or School abroad. He said he was on an almost Perfect CGPA and was deliberately failed repeatedly. The politics in the Department and faculty even amongst his Classmates, religion in school, Poor expensive Hostel life and living conditions, Crazy students behavior, the Job uncertainty etc. Made him leave. He doesn't regret it one bit.
Same goes for the 2nd one but health and Financial problems, the toxic, corrupt enviroment and Depression contributed to his. He felt he was not learning anything particularly useful.
Financially they are alright, better than most graduates actually. They are not rich or upper middle class, but they are Alright.
I did not even know they were dropouts until today.

That may not be the whole truth. It's possible those guys have issues regarding their admission process.
The only way to free themselves is to cook up stories

The fact his classmate is not popular does not make them less successful. I bet you, bro, most of his classmates are far richer than him but they won't post it. I know of a guy who finished the best in class and a few years later got a job in the united nations. What they pay him made him wealthier than most popular guys.

Nobody do entrepreneurship out of love, people do entrepreneurship to make money and earn a living, entrepreneurship is also a job where you have to resume at 7am and close very late, the only difference between an entrepreneur and an employee is that the entrepreneur owns the business and they manage.
