The Nigeria of the military regime is far better this current government. Even the corruption was organized than today. Abacha was a mad man but there was sanity then.

PHED also informed them of the need for the company to apply systematic load shedding in order to accommodate all its customers.

Nonsense! But When you issue them estimated billings monthly you didn't deem it wise to also apply systematic load shedding in charging them.

The youth should come to Niger state and do the same. Power state with jist 2hrs of electricity in 24hrs. What a wicked part of the world we are.

This is the reason we have always advocated that the minister of power to be an engineer at least and at best electrical engineer.
There is no way youths can shutdown a power station.
Everything there at Afam is automated. You need a password to access the computer to operate the power line. It is not manually done as electrical arcing could burn anyone who dares.
The only way youths can obstruct activities there is to tamper with the gas line. Or in alternative prevent workers from accessing the place.
There is something they have not mentioned.
I am a power engineer.
Seems you didn't read the part that says the workers were literally forced to shutdown operation.

This is the practice of the successors to phcn, their host communities live in darkness.

“However, all our attempts have proven futile as the youths insisted on 24-hour supply, negating our efforts at ensuring equitable distribution of supply to customers.
I don't believe this statement. No Nigerian will demand a 24hrs power supply, not after knowing that the group that controls TCNs are idiots. Nothing works and we know, so we can't demand the impossicant/impossible. Ma you lied!

Pure lies I'm a resident of oyigbo LGA I can tell you that every action the youth took is worth it, why will tcn cut our power supply for 4weeks and 3days now? Just because of their selfish interest I served at shiroro dam those guys enjoy 24hrs uninterrupted power supply. Why will you now tell the residents of Afam power to start paying bill you did not provide them road or any CSR then cut their power supply for 4weeks, they are lucky the youths did not do anything crazy!

You can't even know who to meet to shutdown. When you get to a power station you will understand. I have been there and I know what I am talking about.

Don't get it twisted, there is no gas or oil in Bonny.
That's why they pay for the power they have.
They just have deep waters for NLNG facility and ships for export of gas abroad.
The only place that enjoys free electricity is Omoku because they have abundant gas reserves
