I don't really think it's weird. On the contrary, it is something essential for a human to love strange smells. Personally, I love the smell of gas, fuel, old books, animals, etc. Of course, some people love the smell of poop and other dirty things that doesn't seem normal to the majority; this is the reality. For example, many people make handmade incenses with natural herbs and other natural stuff that is very useful for health.
