I know how it feels, mumsy has been blind right before i was born and i am very sure she doesn't know what i look like, i wouldn't pray this for my enemy talk more of my unborn child, just Imagine yourself in total darkness without knowing what's happening around you or maybe the water you were given has dirt in it

It is not easy.

OP may Almighty Allah help you in this fight and heal her, I just pray and hope it doesn't affect the other

please give an update so i know how to come in and help. Thanks

Good evening,

I actually didn’t wanna comment on this further here, before some people remember me cheesy. However, since she brought it here and the house has been helpful to her, I think it is necessary we give updates. I still don’t know how she knew it is me sef, never told her my moniker. She must have some powers. lipsrsealed

I contacted her on Monday after her comment on the left eye being dead, but the initial plan was the protective glasses. I also narrated her case to a loved one who is a consultant (albeit a different field) and he suggested another diagnosis is done at Guinness Eye Center, Lagos. I told her this and she said she has been there, but she never did the surgery there. I reverted and was instructed to get all her details. They got her daughter’s file and expressed anger at the fact that she never came back. Once again, I explained why that happened.

We were able to get the doctors there to look into the eye again. I needed to be sure it is dead. They gave an appointment for today and at first she expressed concerns over the time, said she won’t meet up. Which I understood, not easy going upandan- coupled with distance. I called her last night and we spoke at length. She gave me her word that she will be there today and I told the doctors to expect her. She was there even before time.

Sadly, the doctor said same thing. The left eye is indeed dead. Her next appointment is next Wed. My only concern now is getting a permanent solution for her daughter’s eye, that way she can focus on other things, not everyday eye check, but they are proposing lens. I am yet to get full details on available solutions, when I do, she will pick the option that is best for her and her daughter. We would also keep the house informed.

I didn’t do this alone. I had and still have the support of Nlders who I know beyond this forum.

Regards

Am still following the thread.....sorry for what happened to one of her eyes..

We pray she will be fine soon... nothing will ever happen to the second eye.

God's willing... something positive will come out of this forthcoming mission.

@Pocohantas more grease to your elbow.

Please do give us feeds let's know how and when to come in.

Stay blessed

Good morning all,

After so much back and forth, we were advised to settle for glasses as the eye has been operated on too much and it is too delicate for anymore stress. I can’t go into details, but she understands all that transpired as we talked regularly.

I thank Motirayo more, she is a mother looking out for her child. Anytime you tell her to appear, she will be there. Anytime I call, she would pick. Listens attentively and accurately provides whatever info and history is necessary. Even when I offered to send money for something else, she politely turned it down. Said she still had change from a previous donor. People like that are RARE!! I have never seen such on NL sef cheesy.

She’ll be getting the glasses tomorrow. The eye is no more paining the lil one, so we are good to go. I hope she gets Fauziyat a fine frame kiss.

Thanks for all the love, care and support. NL is a family on its own. cry cry cry
