Just imagine! So this is the reason why Rotimi Amaechi was saying probing the contract will lead to withdrawal by the Chinese? This still confirm that everyone is stealing without shame under this government.

$33billion is even much more than what Nigeria has in foreign reserve. What I know is that Amaechi and his family members alone will work for the Chinese coalmine in Enugu for free when they finally acquire it due to failure to repay the loan

This is the worst administration Nigeria had ever produced.
Corruption under Buhari is more than 10 times that of Jonathan. With Buhari in power, looting has been made very easy

I don’t understand this whole charade by the NASS. I thought someone in the front page will intelligently ask this question but no it is the usual Buhari and politician insults as if that will solve the issue. My question is this: My little knowledge of congressional working tells me that whenever an international loan is to be taken, the Congress is supposed to be furnished with the details and the reasons of taking such a loan which will be deliberated upon and then put into a simple voice vote. How come they missed all the specifics and voted for in favor of its approval and then turn back to still question what they wasted hours in deliberating and even forwarded to a subcommittee for further deliberation before final discussion in the house and approval. Something isn’t right somewhere. It’s either these men and women in NASS hurriedly pass the approval of the loan request made by the Executive without reading the specifics or in their usual fashion they collected money for it to scale through without bothering about the specifics and now some members who didn’t partake in the “lobbied funds” are now asking questions. In a saner clime this can cause the initiation of impeachment proceedings against the President but it seems the latter seems to be the case that’s why NASS hasn’t even called for an emergency section and public inquiry on the issue as serious as this. This shouldn’t be an APC or PDP or even Buhari regime thing but something in which the masses should be asking questions but instead it has resulted into the usual General Buhari regime bashing thereby giving these guys an escape route on the matter on ground while we are all overtaken by new events soon.

I don't think most Nigerians care about how the loans were obtained so long as it brings the much needed development. It's better than the previous loans that were never utilized for the purpose the debt was incurred.

Elect sound presidents na lie.

Almajiris is determining who becomes president and you think we will get the best hand possible.

Go and look at the female president of New Zealand. She just got married.

She is a top 3 best president in the world right now.
Buhari is old enough to be her grand father.

Well, nobody has borrowed like buhari.

Besides, everything is going to China. You are not going to see cash, so you can't even steal if you want to.

The problem I have with this govt is that there is no single avenue for local content.
Everything is going to China. We can't even create jobs with the loans.

And that is beside the fact we are going to pay back in Dollars while China executes the projects in Yuan.

That is daylight robbery. What is the point of the currency swap deal we have with them.

China has outsmarted our leaders from top to bottom.

The way IMF and Paris Club end up forgiving Nigeria debt, that is how it will be with China Las Las. They cannot and will never seize any of our national assets.

This is what happens
When a country is being led
by someone who doesn't have WASC
or any verifiable academic qualifications.

When all key government departments
are being headed by herdsmen & their ilk,
mediocrity is the order of the day. The
rubber stamp Senate signs everything from
Aso Rock without scrutinizing.

All they specialize in is plunder
& waste.

When we finally defaualt, One day, one day, Chinese soldiers go
enter Nigeria, begin catch us one by one
go China as slaves. By then, Buhari done
kpemé, tey try.
