I think Yaya toure equally deserves a statue becos before pep guardiola, he was a pillar at City. He was fantastic and how many times you see a midfielder like him score 20 goals in a season.

He gave up the opportunity to play for the two biggest clubs in his homeland (Barcelona and Real Madrid). He placed his space in the national team at risk, to move to a forign land and become a legend. lucky for him, he's a club and country legend. some things are worth the risk.

Lalasticlala
sorry, which country legend.

Spain, he has over 100 caps for Spain. You don't have that much for a country blessed with talented players like Spain if you are not World Class.

We immortalize our legend for his hardwork, dedication and commitment to Manchester City football club for the past 10 years where he won 4 EPL, 5 Carling Cup, 2 FA Cup, 3 Community shield...

Either way, Yaya was not just a pillar but a moving mountain that pushed us to unbelievable heights. I think due to his impact, he deserves a statue too.

The best midfielder in England since his arrival..

Henderson is not even the best midfielder in Liverpool..

If you want to enjoy Spanish players buy their midfielder.

Lolz. Jobber man.

Lamp left through the back door, John Terry nko? They could have even made sure he retired at Chelsea, but he went to retire in Aston vill(championship) a a year after. Okay, now just use 3 years to tigh Williams down, they refused. Am certain this caterpillar in the person of azpilicueta won't retire in Chelsea.

I'm a blue fan too o
David Silva is going to continue playing for real Sociedad. Kompany just retired at Anderleicht yesterday to become their manager. Yaya Toure is still active and has played for at least two clubs after leaving City.
Xavi and Iniesta both left Barca to play for other teams. Same for Gerrard and Rooney etc.
Players move on and look for money, cos they don't get pension when they retire.
And when players age and slow down, you can't say you want to keep them cos you want them to retire at the club to the detriment of the club.

If you are looking for a Statue at Stamford Bridge, check the front. You'll see that of Peter Lynn Osgood there.

Yaya should get one cos he was the one that kickstarted the foundation for their success.

Before you can be recognised as a legend you have to be good, and consistent for many years in the club. KDB is good but time will tell. They also consider other factors such as loyalty to the club, good behaviour and being humble.
many good players come and go without achieving the legend status and its due to the aforementioned reasons.

The next player that will be immortalized at the club is going to be Aguero. he is another legend that has ticked all the box.

This guy David merited the immortality. He had no quarrels with any coach, and was very friendly to all his team mates. He is an ideal role model. Humility cost nothing but pays a lot.

Yaya at a time had issue with some players and a coach. Same with Aguero
