I know of a stupid guy that bring the Benin republic fake university degree to serve here in Nigeria. The worse part of it, is that he called himself international student. An international student that doesn't know what is a NOUN?

there are only 6 honest people in Nigeria, one from each geo political zone, I know a lot of people are beginning to hate me for being the only honest person from SS zone

Corruption is getting smarter and bolder in Nigeria. We can only hope and pray for things to change, truth is, they will only get worse, and in 10 years, the poor foundation we laid today will implode on everyone.

I was in Cotonou sometimes in 2018 for some lecturing opportunities and I marveled at what they call "universities" over there. Most will not even qualify for departments in a faculty in Nigeria. And the interesting part? Many of the "universities" are founded and owned by Nigerians; the student population was also mainly Nigerian.
We just dey carry our yeye mentality go everywhere. Local man is tired!

LAUTECH and Ogun State University are the worst culprits.
Very useless institutions of higher learning producing half baked graduates. The only thing their graduates excel at is prostitution and advance fee fraud.

During my service year, I knew someone that bought his degree from one university in Benin republic. An engineering degree at that .....After wasted years in university of Ghana and drug addiction he was dropped since his GP was like Seun’s phone number . He is working in a nice organization that deals on engineering and earning a fat check, while me that studied for 5 years with stress and pain, I no carry expo...I never blow

Corruption has eaten deep into all sectors in Nigeria.
Even in the Health Sector, a man was called out days ago for illegal withdrawal of Billions of Naira of the NHIS funds. Yet, health workers go on strike like it's a child's play, the Government Hospitals are in dilapidated state, the Private Hospitals that are even better are expensive for many Nigerians.
Yes, corruption is everywhere & fast becoming a norm BUT what can we do as an individual & as a nation to change this status quo?
The "CHANGE" being chanted by all these political parties (especially APC) everytime begins with you & I.

Jobs are not gotten in the Federal and States civil service or public service because of what an employee can offer but because of the level of his education represented in his certificate and connection.

People working in the ministry of Agriculture should be farmers with experience in livestock production and cropping who resume work by 8am at least six days a week in Government owned farms to increase our agricultural exports and diversify our economy which relies on petroleum. Those working in the ministry of mining should be responsible for minerals exploration and the Government wouldn't spend billions hiring foreign companies. Those in the Ministry of works should be Engineers who make sure roads built in each community are maintained . But people working in those ministries only have to present a second class upper division degree in Library science and with proper connection they can get a job in those ministries only to resume work by 11 am every morning , gossip all day at the office and leave by 3pm.

Everyone knows when you have any degree and connection you can get a job. That's why degrees are sold. At the end of the day sitting in an office generates no revenue for the government but the government will still have to pay them from oil revenue.
