do you know how to enter into your PC BIOS settings ? when you power on your PC, you will see like press f1, f2, f10 or f12, depending on the model of your PC. press the button key asking you to enter into the BIOS settings. when you get into the BIOS, explore the settings, go to the settings asking you to change the boot order of your system. change the first boot order into USB drive, followed by CD ROM, then hard disk. save the settings and restart your PC, before restarting plug in you USB drive and restart, upon restarting, your system will ask you to press any key to boot from the USB drive you plugged in. since it has been set as the first boot order. press any key, and wait for the windows to start the installation.

Try to install pc tune up software such as Iobit or Wise Care. You can clean junk files as well as optimize some processes. After using such tools you will see the problem. If it is still slow so you should take a look at hardware.

Reset your computer, the missing drivers will automatically be reinstalled, then go to windows update, and select Check for updates. Update the drivers to their latest versions.

You can reset the windows by going to settings > Update & security > recovery > Reset this PC.

Make sure your personal files are backed up to an external storage before resetting your computer, to avoid stories that touch.
What if it doesn't work? All my Apps I installed before I updated the PC will be gone sad sad

It will work. Resetting your computer is basically reinstalling Windows. The only problem is during and after reinstallation, you might end up losing all your personal files and apps, which is why it's essential that your personals are backed up.

Get an external hard drive, plug it in, Windows will actually ask you if you want to use it as a backup. Tell it that you do. If you don't get this prompt, you can just go to the Start Menu, type "backup" in the search box, and hit Backup and Restore.

From there, click the "Set Up Backup" button. Pick the external drive you plugged in and hit Next. Windows' default settings are probably fine, so you can just hit Next. On the last screen, hit "Save Settings and Run Backup". Windows will make its first backup of your drive, during which you don't want to turn off your computer.

After resetting your PC, and desires to restore the files and apps you lost, you can just go to the Start Menu, type in "backup", and go back to "Backup and Restore". You can
hit the "Restore My Files" or "Restore Users Files" buttons to get those files back. That's all.

Good Afternoon my people
On July 31 i bought hp 15bs158nia, it comes with freedos, so the shop installed windows 10

I later observed the laptop drains fast in powersaving mode (22% per hour) compared to the hp 15031wm i saw someone use in powersaving mode (8% per hour)

Later i used it in balanced mode and the discharge was still (22% per hour)

So my question is what could be the problem and if any solution?

Is it the same version of Windows 10 you're using with the person?
The older version of Windows 10 tend to have bugs and drains battery fast.
I'll suggest you install another update.

It can be virus or a faulty keyboard,I'll suggest you take it to a laptop technician for proper diagnosis.

RayMcBlue:

There are ways you can trick a game programme into thinking your system has the required VRAM needed to run it.

It's possible to increase your video memory from 0 to 512mb and 1GB, depending on the volume of your RAM.

It's a simple hack.

• Hold windows key and R button to open up a Run box, then type regedit and hit Enter to open Registry Editor.
• Once you're inside "Registry Editor", follow this path... HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > Software > Intel.
• Right click on the Intel key and choose New, and under new, choose Key, and rename it GMM.
• With the GMM key selected, move over to the right pane and select New, under New, select DWord (32bit), or QWord (64bit) value, and name it DedicatedSegmentSize.
• Double click on DedicatedSegmentSize, set the base to Hexadecimal, and input 512 if your RAM is 4GB, or 1020 if your RAM is 8GB.
• Save the changes and restart your computer.
• After the restart, go to Graphics properties and check if the changes have been successfully enforced.

Pls, I followed this exact process it didn't work on my system
