Beautiful morning to Nlanders. I just bought a registered Toyota Camry (big Daddy v4) two months ago. Now to the question. I noticed the water in the radiator has oil as well as the water in the reserve and the engine oil goes down after few days even when I just serviced it. I have changed the oil two times from June 10 till now. Please I need the advice of the knowledgeables . I need your advice.What can I do Thanks Opinions are appreciated. |

Yeah, I guess so too @Aanumi . But honestly I don't experience overheating even at slightly long distance from my place . What do u think could be done |

This is one of the hidden/underlying issues sellers won't disclose to the buyer. Buying Nigerian used vehicle is very risky except you know the history of the vehicle. 2 Likes |

serox2324:i think the guy above you has answered your question. Blown head gasket is usually the culprit. There could be other severe reasons oh. Pray it is only the gasket and since not much overheating experienced, the top cylinder may still be fine. Good luck 1 Like |

Change top gasket and valve seals. Inspect the top, resurface if its bad. 1 Like |

serox2324:That will solve that. Unless your car is already smoking. In that case you will have to rebuild or replace engine. |

Mrford. No. The engine is not smoking .just the quick short of oil and gasket. Do you suggest ringing the engine too? |

serox2324:save your money, don't start throwing in parts. Top gasket is gone, engine is weak. Just get a toks engine (speaking from experience) 1 Like |
