Why are you turning the narrative upside down just because you want to make a mockery of the Bible?
The Bible had longed mentioned the circumference of the Earth indicating that it is round/spherical.
Man thought it was flat. Galileo concurred with the Bible with the concept of a round Earth. He was threatened to be killed for blasphemy
