AutosBay: Is the protest not holding again? it's clear this woman wants to sit on that money, maybe till the senate resumes and hear our case again. Why this callousness from her...you can imagine the statement she's dishing out. I'm sure she has bribed all those Npower reps from the 36 states, the way they are quiet about this is questionable. |

Ogun Government To Empower Disengaged N-Power Volunteers The Ogun State government said it has opened another window of opportunity for disengaged Federal Government-owned N-power beneficiaries to become entrepreneurs in the agricultural sector. This was contained in a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr. Kunle Somorin, on Monday. Somorin stated that the disengaged Npower beneficiaries could venture into various agricultural intervention programmes of the Ogun State government. It was gathered that the programmes are particularly designed to encourage start-up agric-businesses and promote up-scaling of smallholders’ farmers. Some of the programmes they can participate in include Anchor Borrowers’, Central Bank of Nigeria Cocoa Development Initiative, Oil Palm Intervention Programme, Fertilizer Intervention, Ogun State Economic Transformation Programme (OGSTEP), GIZ Tomato/Chilli Pepper, Ogun State Broiler Project and the Agric-Business/Small and Medium Enterprise Investment Scheme (AGSMEIS). Somorin added that apart from the listed opportunities, the State Ministry of Agriculture also provides Supplementary Extension Service and Agro-Input delivery to support farmers’ activities in the State. The state government urged all interested NPower beneficiaries, who were disengaged from the programme recently, to report to the Ogun State NPower State Office, Ministry of Special Duties and Inter-Government Affairs, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta to register their interest. https://dailypost.ng/2020/08/17/ogun-govt-to-empower-disengaged-ogun-npower-beneficiaries/?fbclid=IwAR3KlkUIdGKw15V351QdBVeG-IlQBw_9h25IpSQMKs4raS3ozmrqg0TN4Pw |

*THE GROWING AGITATION OF NIGERIANS YOUTHS* From global statics, it has been revealed that youth has a larger percentage of people living in a country in which Nigeria is no exception. 35% of Nigerian youth are in one way or the other contributing to the political crisis in Nigeria. The record has shown that most of these youths are normally equipped by the politicians to carry out all manners of criminality across the country. Again, less than 10% of youth holds one political post or the other across the country, yet they keep telling us "youths are the leaders of tomorrow. Also, over 40 millions Nigerian graduates are unemployed and with the way things are going, it doesn't seem as if the Government has the plan to reduce this number. From the above, it is quite obvious that the future of the youth looks scary and Government seems not to have answers to this GROWING population of unemployed youths across the country. For us, we think this is the time to take real action and prove to the world that we matter a lot in this country and through our GROWING numbers, we can make things work. We need to let our leaders know that we are not contented with the ill-treatment meted on the youths yet many of them without doing nothing go home with millions of naira every day. This is the time we need to tell them "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH" Nigerian youth matters a lot especially in the affairs of this country. We want recognition of youth in all political position in this country. Nigerian youth are making an unprecedented impact around the world, we are brilliant and successful people, yet these skills and talent are being neglected by our Government. This is the time we need to wake up from our slumber and take the future into our hands. We, therefore, call on youths across the nation to join us in this movement as we fight to secure what is rightful our. except we carry everyone along . in every state ,local govt ,villages and towns , we wont work . we don't need to be included in politics, we need to create our own party as youth and involve every youth in the country for a peaceful election coming 2023 and yes we will win and there and then we shall begin to implement our own policy to favour the youth and our parent that have suffered so much to send us to school. 1 Like |

They said the youth are the leaders of tomorrow...But in
Nigeria..its the old that remain the leader of both today and
forever
Its only in Nigeria that u as a graduate have no future but as
an illiterate thug and criminal u are the golden child of the
nation
Its in Nigeria that one old man called pama sec or director will
hold a position of millions of people called ghost workers while
the worthy youth and young graduate are kept outside the job
on the street driving achaba and keke napep yet they will bring
policies to drain them of their little take home tokens.
Its in Nigeria that old folks who are suppose to b enjoying their
retirement who called themselves senators and house of reps
receive salaries worth enough to feed the whole nation while
the whole nation lavish in anguish and poverty.
Its in Nigeria that these old people comes year in year out to
preach to us of better tomorrow but always go after their
salfish reasons.
Its in Nigeria that we sell electric to neighboring countries but
we lack constant power supply
its in Nigeria that a professor is a professor by mouth
no research,no contribution to humanity, only to sit down and
collect hundreds of thousands and always go on strike without
the considering the life of the students
We now have to buy our own jobs at millions of naira after
every job has already been shared within the old unworthy
people.
they send their children overseas to study while we rot with
dilapidated and expired education in Nigeria
Come to think of it.
who are the majority of the votters ....youth
who are the political thug........youth
who are the skilled labour .........youth.
who are the soldiers been killed in the name of boko harram
......youth
who are the ones suffering from unemployment.....youth.
who are the majority of police and other security agent not
being paid properly.....youth
its time we youth all come together and vote out these old
people out of power lets try ourselves too . They have failed us
over and over again ,our future is in our power to vote for
ourselves . these old people are only after themselves and their
children . ask yourself has Nigeria ever get any better ? the
answer is no but we youth keep voting for them but they have
followed the same pattern year after year .
We have no reason to fight, no reason for war , no reason for
revolution, these is a country with political power, lets channel
our right to the right direction. Enough is enough .
I stand with the youth for 2023. no more APC ,PDP, OTHER .
if u are with us reply with the #tag |
