why can't any of you people post understandable Grammer?

Someone that wants to lecture people on grammar is beginning a sentence with a small letter and a word in the sentence begins with a capital letter

Lol

This is exactly what I mean. No punctuations.
Thoughts should be written so that it is understandable at first glance.

Thanks.

I do not know why Nigerians make themselves feel good by their hard earned achievement abroad.

It is a wasted effort until at least one African country can excel at home.

Black high achievers in Diaspora are ignored, put down and set up to trip. As some always say, even if you are the Chief of dog catchers, there are those wondering why a black.

Keep on fooling yourselves and calling your home sheethvillages, you must answer what they call you outside.

It does not make a difference how much money you loot to train your children there, even in the best schools.
After reading your post, i still de dust my International passport.
I will Leave this Country. Everything is not about money, i want access to basic Amenities of Life.
Quality life is what i want for myself and my children yet unborn.
Nothing you say now will change my mind.
No be me spoil Nigeria and i will not go through the stress to rebuild it.
Our problem in the country is highly complicated.
Call me whatever name you want, it still won't change anything.
To get everything in this Nigeria is difficult.
No place is devoid of problems but I can't deal with the problems in Nigeria.

Please OP, Help us build Nigeria and those in Diaspora will gladly come back and Claim the Green passport once more.

It is not my intention to change the mind of people that have made up their minds like you. Even when Nigeria, at least a part of Nigeria was like Paradise compared to today, some of us still left.

But we come to learn that we left the best country in the world with the greatest potentials. Actually, you have to leave to compare and get a good grasp of it.

Africans have always been treated badly outside but many Africans lied to us luring us there. We never had the information we have now. Only leaders like Herbert Macauley, Nkrumah, Azikiwe, Awo and few others through their writings and fights against whites opened our eyes.

At least Africans going overseas were respected then because of Nkrumah and the Potential of NIGERIA to become world Power. Those two factors have disappeared. No reason to respect Africans. Africans are selling themselves to get out.

Why? Branding, Glitters, Mirrors in exchange for Gold, Plastics in exchange for talents underemployed as cheap labor and more important:

Solid Belief that only Whites can save Africans, they cannot save themselves. Jews must stay as slaves in Egypt instead of going home.

Moreover, we found out that no matter how accomplished you are, they taunt you to go home and repeat the same for your people.

Diaspora Blacks that Africans used to bring home were happy and grateful that they have a place to return. Marcus Garvey started Back to Africa Movement.

Dubois was happy to return to Ghana, Alexander was happy to return to Nigeria and later became Chief Justice. Those are prominent ones, think about average ones that returned.

Think about why Sunny Kuku, Maduka, Ani, Audu, doctors, lawyers, engineers followed their fathers like DaRocha, Sapara etc home.

The only place they know you, your name, street and family is in Africa. Right now outside Africa you are just a niggatt. Everyday, no matter how highly placed you are, you must wonder if your son or husband would come home safe. If your job is secured, even as the best and the boss. Police carry out the intention of their people after KKK went underground. That is why the JURY discharge them free.

Dog wey wan loss nor dey hia wisuul.

Those people came back because they know they will get the respect they so much crave in Africa.
We Africans and Nigerians in particular love to worship anyone with money.
So why not Make the money and come to Nigeria and show off....

Like i said, we all have choices. I know most of those people that came back, their children are still abroad schooling or living their lives.
I crave a quality Life for myself and my kids. If they(my children) decide to come back, then it will be their choice.

There is danger and problems everywhere but i can't deal with the one in Nigeria.
Insecurity,no basic Amenities, corruption in every quarters (broad day and its even celebrated) and others.
All Nigerians have been asking the Government is to provide basic Amenities and watch how things will change positively.
If you want to call out the Government the same people will shut you down.

Children ehyaa! Another tori.

They will come home and bury you if you are here and put you in Nursing Home or old people home if you are there.

Do you know them or do they know you? You speak the same language or have the same culture.

Quality of life you don't know. Those talking about quality of life only wish. You are in for cultural shock!

Government? Who encourage and celebrate them even when they ask you to stone them.

I can't argue with you because you are right 100%. To add to what you already wrote, an increasing number of Black Americans are moving to some African countries and Africans in the diaspora who are from other African countries are moving back too and investing in their respective homelands.

I know some Nigerians overseas especially the ones who already have their papers who want to relocate back to Africa too but the situation of things in Nigeria is discouraging them from doing so.

People need a country that is safe and peaceful. People need a country where basic amenities such as light and water are readily available and the business environment is conducive.

I sometimes watch videos on YouTube of Black folks from the diaspora moving to Ghana, Gambia, Tanzania, Kenya, etc. I don't see many people seeking to move to Nigeria. Some Nigerians are even seeking information on how to retire in other African nations because of the sorry state of affairs Nigeria is in right now.

Back in the day, our parents generation travelled out of the country to go and study overseas and when they were done, no one begged or coerced them into coming back home. But there were jobs then. My parents got jobs as soon as they finished with their NYSC after returning from Western Europe where they had gone to study. My parents got housing provided to them by the Nigerian government once they started working. My parents are no politicians. They were ordinary folks. That was the norm then.

Today in Nigeria, there are few decent paying jobs and you have to have connections to have access to them. Power supply has gotten worse. Tribalism and divisiveness amongst Nigerians have gotten worse. Killings have gotten worse. Insecurity in the country is nothing to write home about. Cost of living continues to climb astronomically. So these are some of the reasons why Nigerians leave the country or are reluctant to come back.

A Black American lady was sharing with a group of us online that she is married to a Nigerian man and that she would like to leave America and move back to Africa but her husband is reluctant even though he is not exactly happy in the States either due to all the wahala going on there. Perhaps, if the husband were from a more peaceful country like Tanzania, Mozambique, Ghana etc, he won't think twice about moving back home. However, when the husband remembers all the wahala he ran away from, to go back to Nigeria becomes a frightening reality.

Even Nigerians back home will question why he came back like I was questioned by many Nigerians about why I chose to come back to Nigeria including my boss in the office. Of course I have since relocated back overseas. Wetin man go do?

May God bless you for this comment. Only a fool would deny that we do not have a problem.

Look at Victoria Island in Lagos, it was those returning that got allocation there. There are many allocation like that all over Nigeria. Someone was talking about Abariba the other day. Jos used to be a Paradise too.

However, they were bedroom communities. Some people know that but still want to come home. So they started creating projects to work and live on.

Guess what? Their own families duped them.

Guess what Nigerians do with the money. The same thing they do with laundered money. All the money sent home by these hard working Nigerians looking for their way back home are exchanged for Naira by some of their relatives only to be exchanged by big boys back into Euro and Dollars, then laundered out again.

Why, why? When people think their only Salvation is a ticket outside and everything not African is better, will continue to go in a vicious circle.

Those abroad investing their hard earned money to come back home but sonabasiwere looting it out. No matter what you say, they want out and call their villages all kinds of names.

If those at the top of their professions are dying to come home, how bad can Nigeria be?

It is not Nigeria, it is people from our individual families. If you get awoof money from overseas or loot in Nigeria, why not invest at home?

What is it about overseas where they hate your guts. Where they tell talented Africans superior in intellect that The Only Good Niggatt Is A Dead Niggatt!

We have seen very rich millionaires relocate abroad so it's not really about the money, fela went to study music in UK and he saw the how humans should be living which is totally different from how Nigerians are living, he tried his best to raise alarm of the money our leaders are looting can turn around Nigeria to a paradise but our Nigerian leaders are cursed with greed and selfishness... Until Nigerian leaders lineage are eradicated it will continue to remain like that, how easy is it for a Nigerian youth to work and hustle 2 millionaire in a year legitimately? The country doesn't encourage talent. An example is Mike adenuga, he was a taxi driver in UK before he came to set up his business in Nigeria.. So please let people travel out if they like, until there's a solution to Nigerian leaders. There is no hope for growth

Now you are beginning to sound like a broken record, too much hypocrisy in this post.

It is either you are have been banned from travelling, or you do not have the resources to travel.

People have been migrating right from time immemorial, and they do so for different reasons. Because a selected few refused to stay back doesn't mean some did not remain.

And please stop this rant about nigga or whatnot. If you think life is not all about money, then that explains the level of ignorance you're exhibiting here. People seek a place where basic amenities are readily available, I doubt you know what that means since you produce your water, run your generator, drive your jalopy car on death traps you call a road, malaria is a deadly disease. Your hospitals can't deal with it.

And I see no point in arguing with you, enjoy the little attention you crave. SMH

The OP is just trying to discourage people from traveling because he can't travel, maybe for financial reasons

If he wants to change the country, he would have opened a thread about how to remove corrupt leaders but instead he is discouraging people from traveling.

Tell me, would Wole Soyinka have won the Nobel prize if he didn't travel out of Nigeria?

I think he got 3rd class in Nigeria but travelled out and was the best in uni and won a Nobel prize.

There are cases of people that Nigeria have made dumb. They fail or pass with poor marks in Nigeria but succeed in abroad. You can't replace a working system.

The OP should keep discouraging people, misery loves company

I do not want to dignify some of the ridiculous comments that got me laughing.

I just have to mention a few people some of these comments addressed.

El Must is White, kapish? Any white with his heavy accent, no matter where he comes from would ask a Black in America before Columbus where he comes from.

Wole Soyinka and Dangote: some of you are so dumb you cannot and will never understand. You are blinded by propaganda that neither you or your parents work for but insist on enjoying. You will and must pay the price.

Slaves, a necessary evil built Europe and America riches and new slave laborers are now flying in 707 or desert and seas to get there.

Let me add Maduka to Soyinka and Dangote. In the first place, where are they now? Who told you they are not subjected to insults right from the Airports to their homes abroad? Why are some of you walking around with your heads? I guess travellers never come home and tell you about their ordeals in Promised lands. Even when they do?

Oh, all these have to do with my lack of financial status, banned from overseas or misery love company?

By the way, most of you are worse than your leaders. They came from your individual families. They begged you to stone them, have you or you are waiting for Wole Soyinka to lead?

Don't forget to wake up and take Gani Fawehinni along.

Pity.

Those Africans that studied abroad without scholarships, loans, laundered money from parents and relatives AND still come home and contribute must be celebrated not the ones that hid abroad after deserting Nigeria.

What would Nigeria Medical, Legal and other areas be without them until the 80s. Since then Nigeria has been going down. Celebrate your heroes at home to encourage new generation not those copy copy African Europeans we used to call Adaka and Odaka.

What i don't understand in this travel section is how some people take this abroad thing too personal to the extent that they look like they have something eating them up internally. What exactly is the problem? That Nigerians should not migrate? Nigerians in diaspora should come back?

If Nigerians are slaves and not recognized abroad like some people say, whose business is it? Why would someone take it personal when he himself is a king in Nigeria and not affected?

We all want Nigeria to be great but how is Nigerians abroad or aspiring to migrate the problem of the country. Someone would just be worrying over the 'slave' status of Nigerians abroad as if it affects him instead of channeling their energy to the real people who are the problem of Nigeria. If you love Nigeria, then channel your criticism to those guys that have made Nigeria bleeped up. They are in Abuja and all the 36 states capital in Nigeria.

As it stands Nigerians in diaspora are even contributing to Nigeria more than those idiots. Nigerians in diaspora remitted $17.5 billion to Nigeria in 2019 alone

These are monies from cleaning jobs, washing dead bodies, uber driving, factory workers, doctors, engineers, nurses etc but the so called people who should make Nigeria better take Nigeria's money oversees. For example, how much of Nigeria's money has Buhari and his families remitted to the Europe through medical tourism?
Instead of some of you to appreciate Nigerians abroad, you keep on talking nonsense.

If travelling abroad is your goal...then it is an achievement when you have the opportunity to travel.
...And your opinion is irrelevant.

Honestly, you do have a point.

For every billion sent by these hard working Nigerians abroad, do you know how much is laundered out?

Actually one malam would change all your foreign money without leaving his car.

Do you know how many trillions are brought into Europe and America? What is brought into each African country pales after all the blood, sweat and indignities.

How can we fight our devils at home if the best of us were taken out as slaves to build their riches yesterday and we are still doing the same for pittance today?

Where does the vicious circle end?
