Since the 1980s, Prince Engineer Arthur Eze has always been too rich, a young smart business man and super philanthropist that flows with every government at all levels without ever showing open support for any man in power. He has always been reserved, yet effective.

Our surprise is how he suddenly delved into the murky waters of state politics at a time when Godfather politics has become toxic in Igbo land.

Keep your good name Eze n' Ukpo, climb your exalted high and watch from the top, while directing things from being the shadows. You carrying around the police errand boy is rather insulting to your reputation.

I agree with Arthur Eze that an Nnewi man should succeed Obiano. In the old Anambra South which comprised of Nnewi, Ihiala and Aguata, only an Nnewi man is yet to rule the state. Aguata ruled through Ezeife while Ihiala ruled through Mbadinuju. Soludo is from Aguata, so he should forget about succeeding Obiano.

Notable business magnate, Prince Arthur Eze has said that electing Nnewi person as next governor of Anambra state would help hasten the development and job creation in the state.

Eze who was at the palace of Igwe Kenneth Orizu of Nnewi to Introduce the new AIG of Zone 13, AIG Danmallam Mohammed to the Anambra south Traditional rulers council said that Nnewi has contributed greatly to the development of the state and south east in general contending that empowering a son of the soil to succeed obiano at the Agu-Awka government house come 2022 would further energize the people in their drive to make Anambra and south east industrial and economic hubs of nigeria.

He said: Nnewi has contributed greatly to the development of Anambra state annd south east by extension. Notable companies as the Innoson motors, Innoson plastics, Ibeto cement and Ibeto petrochemicals, Capital oil and gas, Coscharis, A-Z oil and gas, Emzor pharmaceuticals, cutix cables among others are owned by Nnewi sons and daughters. Through these companies they created jobs and boost socio-economic development of Anambra, south east and Nigeria in general.

In the past, names like Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, Sir Louis Ojukwu, Akweke Nwafor Orizu among many others were names that projected the image of the state to the outside world. So Nnewi people have done much and in my opinion, if any of their sons gunning for the governorship seat in 2021, is considered to succeed obiano, I belive Anambra state will move to a higher pedestrian.

He further urged the traditional rulers and their subjects to give the AIG all the necessary support he would need to succeed and fight crime


“Please, His Royal Majesties, our main reason of coming to you is not only to introduce the new AIG to you, but also to seek your cooperation and those of your subjects, so that he will succeed.

“The new zone covers Anambra, Enugu and Ebonyi states; but as the host state, it is our duty to help the new zone succeed by helping them nip crime in the bud,” he added.

The chairman of Anambra South Traditional Rulers Council, Igwe Nnabuife of Isseke Ancient Kingdom responded on behalf of the traditional rulers.

Igwe Nnabuife assured the visitors of the support of Anambra South traditional rulers.

He urged the new AIG to hold the new zone professionally, so that police in the zone would not lose sight of their professional duties.

He also commended Prince Arthur Eze for his giant stride in attracting the zone to Anambra.

Earlier, AID Danmallam Mohammed, commended Anambra people and the traditional rulers in particular, for warm reception accorded him on assumption of office as pioneer AIG of Zone 13.

He assured that personnel of the new zone would not derail from the purpose of establishing it.

There are many credible candidates from Nnewi extraction and Arthur in his wisdom is addressing kings in South and not your miniscule candidate.
