Northern Cyprus (TRNC) is not a recognized state by the UN or EU. It is a Turkish occupied territory. It is different from the internationally recognized state of Southern Cyprus.

Its about time Nigerians realize that we are not wanted any where! Must we travel? Must we send our kids to lands we dont know or even havent heard of?

Our private universities are far better than some of these schools abroad!

Try visit turkey someday and you'd understand why turkey is more secure than most of this countries you've mentioned,to me,America is a shit hole, likewise UK,I have been to the UK and now I live in turkey,I can tell you, you'll probably live a stress-free life in Turkey than some of this coutries you've mentioned, turkey is underrated,I use to think this way too,but I was wowed when I moved here,very polite people and they'll treat you with love and respect,their police to disturb and you have nothing to fear,unlike NIGERIA where going out doesn't guarantee your coming back home

True sir, but are Nigerian students safe in Nigeria specifically, Northern Nigeria. We don't need any foreign diplomacy to ensure safety in Northern Nigeria.

School Agents scamming our people, how can you send your kid to another country to study without proper background check of that country. Northern Cyprus is only recognised as a country by Turkey, what kind of degree are they awarding and worse of all you can be killed by their drunken citizens and their Govt won't do anything about it

Because our system are not working, when you enter you don't know when you will graduate. And education at this schools are cheaper than European universities, Canadian, American and Australian. The quality is poor and the risk is very high in Northern Cyprus and Turkey.

My brother life na choice..some things are just more than the government..Nigerians are just so craizy with anything abroad..information they say is power,why ask,make enquires about the location u intend travelling to. some people will hide anything especially Nigerians because people will spoil their plans..ask questions not ur agents,go online & see reviews.

Many countries may treat us this way because we move in large numbers to such places within a short time..we are too abroad centered..we look down on every thing we have here but cherish even tissue paper abroad.
