Me and my friend decided to visit agro areas in Anambra state, our quest took us to Omor, Anaku and Igbariam, we were trying to cover many areas but there was limited time, we left Awka 12:23 pm got to Omor around 2:59pm, these areas Omor, Umumbo and Anaku, these areas are known for Agriculture especially commercial rice farming, there are large scale of rice farms in these towns, hardly to see residential buildings there, these agro areas host two gaint mills Josan rice mill and Coscharies rice mill with numerous small mills, surrounding by Omambal rive

As a seminarian in onitsha few years back, I did my apostolic work in this area, Umumbo precisely. It’s one of my top life experience. I was inspired by the tenacity of people leaving there plus the smile that never leaves their face. They all have two homes, one in the farm and one in the village, they travel to the farm sometimes and spend months, I even heard they established small markets on the farm routes because of how massive the farms were.
