4 years ago I was scheduled for a program in Zurich, Switzerland.First time traveling abroad.
My Flight was enroute Charles De Gaul Airport,Paris.
Arriving Paris I got a rude cultural shock.Every body was minding their business and on the move.I was at a loss to locate the terminal to my connecting flight to Zurich and time was running out.
Baba I started panicking.I approached a couple of black guys and I could swear they gave me wrong direction.
Luckily,I located a customer care rep. and showed her my ticket for directions, she muted an inaudible direction using French.I could only understand her pointing to a train like vehicle(TRAM) to board to my terminal.Baba I follow people jump inside TRAM ohhh and not fully sure of where I was headed.People were occasionally alighting, still I stayed put.The TRAM took me to the last stop(after like 200metres) and started a return back to my starting point.
In a haze of confusion, one of my inner Angels whispered to me to look at my ticket and the signage at every stop of the TRAM.Finally I was able to self reconcile that every stop has a direction and I am to alight at the number tied to my flight ticket number.
You have TO FOLLOW the signage to your destination I realized.

My year one in school, I ventured into the logistics business and I wasn't doing well at all. Out of frustration, I and my partner decided to go to Abeokuta to look for trucks to hire ( the most foolish decision I have ever made in my life), we kept going from garage to garage getting contacts of different drivers and we were so happy.
Yawa gas when we decided to withdraw the last 1k in my account to board a taxi to mushin, first bank had removed 895.54 as bank charges.

We were Just crying inside and decided to trek back las las 3 days we would get home, at a point my friend couldn't hold it in and started crying profusely and that brought us a good Samaritan that paid for our transport and snacks.

Chai I can never forget Aug 17 2016.

my worst travel experience, was when I was returning to warri, from Lagos, on getting to ore, the road was bad, I mean really bad, so instead of sitting in the car with heat, we decided to be strolling along the road while the driver will meet us up, we did it twice and the driver told us not to go down again, but me warri boy I wanted to be smart and I came down, at the long run I could not meet up with my vehicle, and my money and things I bought was in my bag inside the vehicle, I had only 300naira with me, o boy see as I take turn begger for road. na God help me that day

It was last year year, going to work (V.I.) in the staff bus ( luxurious bus) around 5.40am. On the 3rd mainland shortly after Iyana Oworo. There was a broken down car parked by the rail on the bridge with C-Caution to indicate a broken car.
Our driver was just speeding, he climbed the C-Caution. I sat in front shouting by calling the driver that there was broken down car, this man didn't hear! As he was about to get to the broken down car with speed, he just manouvered the bus to his left side avoiding the broken down car by few inches! What really saved us was that there was no vehicle coming on the left side. He then went to pack in front. Infact, if he had hit the car with the speed, we would have been thrown into the lagoon. When we asked the driver why he drove that way, he could not even talked. I really thank God for His protection. It was a miracle we escaped that incident. Since that day, I said I won't sit in front of any vehicle. The impact would have been more on me.

Something similar...

I was travelling for my Post-UTME and there was gridlock somewhere along Ore road, so a few of us got down to stretch our legs and get something too.

At first, we were trailing him as he wriggled his way out of the traffic.

Like play-like play, we didn't know (missed him) when he drove past us and he also didn't see us and majority of us that got down left our phones in the bus.

Thankfully, the driver got through to us on one of the numbers on the manifesto list after about an hour!!

You should see the speed with which we all got in...me especially grin

Since then, I only get down when the driver asks us to. I can't coman goan be shouting inside ORE grin

I was travelling from Ilorin to Kano, but for whatever reason quite unlike me I suddenly became so pressed I felt if the driver doesn't pull over I would relieve myself right there in the car. I told the driver I needed 'help' but the stubborn man insisted on stopping at the garage where people eat.

Before that day I never knew I had that level of self control and patience. What didn't I do? I was praying, pep talking myself to be a man and not disgrace myself. As soon as the stubborn man stopped the car, to even walk over to the toilet became art because I could poo on myself if I walked too fast. And at the same time walking too slowly was also dangerous.

Anyway, that was how God saved me o. That day ehn, hmm.

Mine was during my service year in Edo State.

It was a rainy day. Got stuck in Benin and was traveling to Afuze. After the rain stopped, the road was flooded and had to wade in through the water to one popular park (Ramat park or something) to take a bus to Auchi onward Afuze. The bus got filled around 9pm.

Reached Auchi around 12am midnight and I didn't know a single soul. Where will I sleep? One co-traveler, a student, notice my dilemma and offered me his place around an area called Water Board. We trekked for about 30 mins to reach his hostel. On entering his room we met many people there smoking confirmed weed and drinking hard drinks. Cultists probably.

They left for God know where around 1am.

Was offered a bed to sleep but who wan sleep inside a smoke-filled room? Was just praying the police wouldnt choose that night to raid that hostel.

when I was in primary 6, my parents told me not to go to my school excursion because there was no money to pay the bills. I was sad cause I was the Headboy, how on earth will the whole class go for excursion and me the head boy is to be left out. I started making plans without my parents knowledge, I pleaded with my class teacher that my parents said they'll pay the following week. on D-Day I packed my things like I was going to school, I stole my brother's Jean trouser, I had no belt then so I removed the rope on my native wear in place of belt.when we got there, we were told to take off our shirt for sport that was how my rope started dangling, It was as if the ground should open and swallow me
headboy next time listen to your parents lol...

Was traveling from plateau State to Port Harcourt, 2017.. after a successful nysc redployment, on my way back, our bus broke down, I think GIGM .. we had to stop somewhere in benue State, luckily enough the bus broke down close to a filling station, we had to sleep there. Met one fine corper in the bus , she sat close to me.. we later came down from the bus and decided to stroll a bit, before going back to where the bus was parked. One thing led to another, we started kissing, she removed my trousers and went down on her knees, y'all know the rest...
She's was actually engaged when this happened

One funny experience I wouldn't forget too, was traveling from Port Harcourt to Lagos, boreded the bus with one fine figure 8 babe, she sat next to me close to the window, I tried starting up a conversation she just ignored, 3 hours after the journey she became so restless, switching from side to side, before I knew what was happening I started perceiving a fowl smell, it became unbearable for everyone in the bus, the driver had to stop, mad we were asked to come down, omo as the girl just stand up eh, she don defecate for her body, naso I burst laugh.. her white trouser don turn yellow..
What later happened to the girl and weytin she do

2010 or so while traveling to Akungba in Ondo State from Kaduna state to write postutme, got to a place and we saw so many vehicles parked on the road. Our bus stopped and we were told there was a robbery going on in front, we were still wondering why they chose to rob during the day when we saw people running towards us and shouting 'dem dey come o'... Don't even know how the guy that sat closed to me jumped out, all I remembered was that before I could look at my side, he was already far into the bush, running like a mad man.....

Me no even know when I burst laugh while still seated inside the bus and people were struggling to get out from the Bus...

It was so funny, I later got to know that he actually jumped through the window without even me that sat closed to him knowing.

I was heading to Lagos from Calabar, we never knew that the so called vehicle from a reputable transport company was bad right from the park, the vehicle stopped like thrice on the road, see curse now, the last mechanic fault was at shagamu, that day i was crying in my heart, my mom and brother were running helter skelter, to make matter worse, i was hearing gunshots, they were robbing somewhere, at last a good Samaritan picked some of us up and I alighted at ikeja, got home around 12 a.m midnight . Worst traveling experience ever.
Another bad experience was coming back from sokoto to Anambra, it was during the lockdown and i slept on the road for three good days, the only good thing was i was in the company of my colleagues, when i finally got to onitsha around 9 p.m , i could no longer get a bus going to my hometown, had to lodge in a hotel till the next morning

While traveling from osogbo to Calabar with my friends,on getting to Abia State we got stuck inside a muddy pool of water. A BMW X5 was another victim. The driver was a novice he asked me to help him navigate the vehicle from the spot, that he will help pull out our front wheel drive vehicle. I agreed. The moment his vehicle was on dry surface I came down only for the nonsense ijebu man to enter the vehicle and zoom off.

I was traveling to Onitsha from Sokoto. Journey was around 850km. The seats were all occupied and the gangway filled to the brim. No AC. There was awful stench oozing from every corner and the fact that I didn't get the window side never helped matters. A woman bought a live Hen and the best place she deemed fit to keep it was right under my seat. angry. I am always scared of touching a live Hen or any animal, and here I am being tormented by a live chicken on top my 8,000 tfare that I paid. The bus had not even gone 10km when somebody hanging on the gangway fainted. The bus had to stop to eject the dude. We were still raining curses on the driver when another guy vomitted on 3 people.
If there was one word to describe the journey, the word would be HORRIFIC. Las Last i reach upper iweka 23 hrs laterlooking like someone who just finished playing a rugby match. grin. BTW, na thru that travel I take know sey this country big o.

Mine was traveling from Ekpoma to Ibadan..Unknown to us our driver is an epilepsy patient. Few minutes to his crisis he received a call that made him shout and para. Oboy see as the epilepsy start with him, my heart had left me, as the men beside him were trying to press brake and park he was pressing accelerator unconsciously.
It was not funny at all, thank God the men beside him were experienced drivers, they kicked his legs away from d accelerator and parked us successfully. This took us some time o, thank God the road was not busy DAT time.
After he recovered, we told him what happened and he said he is well now that he can still drive us.. For where? We no agree o, na one of the men in front drove us home from Akure..It could have being more tragic.. Thank God for life.. The funniest thing is that its a company bus and I saw him driving after some months. Only God go dey save us in Naija.

Mine was also Post UTME 2017 ( Lagos to ife oau)

Left Lagos around 11am at begger on 300 naira bus to Ibadan grin and even helped the driver to call passengers first time I knew, people were commuting from Lagos to Ibadan on a daily basis as most people that entered where selling stuff and discussing how their movements will be the following day, getting to Ibadan around 1:30 our driver dropped us off at one filling station I think that is the last bus-stop at Ibadan, me and my uncle tried all our possible best to get bus to ife but all to no Vail, so as a lagos breed, I asked the drive to take us to ife he billed us and we opted out and decided to find cartons to sleep at the filling station, the driver was still thinking we where going to come back and beg lol but we didn't and later he came to tell us to move on and we got to ife around 3am and on getting to OAU, we went to the Gate only to be told by the gate man that we can't come in till around 5am and there was ORO rituals going on around that area well with no choice me and my uncle slept by the gate side till they opened the gate cheesy.

Those people that will say they met a girl in a bus during night travel and had sex with her when they went to stretch their legs outside or fingered her right in the bus are pathetic liars.

Well mine was a fine babe beside me during a journey. She was forming big girl but along the journey I noticed she was sweating, restless and uncomfortable. When we got to a bush path, she just told the driver she wanted to ease herself but she was lying, na shìt he go shìt. Just to go and urinate was already taking 10-15 minutes lol. When she came back everywhere just dey stink. Guess she didn't clean up well..

Whenever I'm travelling I avoid eating and drinking much because I don't even want a case where I'll be stopping the driver say I wan piss not to even talk of shìt.
