it depends on how a charger or inverter is manufactured,, it could damage the charger but some inverter or charger has chips in it that protects it, do u know that if u make that mistake on a bluegate ups , that bluegate ups is gone, happened to me before

on intelligent mode mine starts charge 14.4 18amp, battery was not depleted so it starts at 18amp dropping down, always turn ur knob to full right on intelligent mode, charge will start at 14.4v but sometimes if its on intelligent mode and the knob is turned to the left charge will start at 13.8v

Thanks bro. Sorry about your ups. I realized, in a painful way, that ups is not very ideal for this inverter setup in the long run. Many things could go wrong.

all are inverters, when u go to oshodi where they repair these inverters, u will find out that many inverters too have problems or damages, theres was a time i went to arena to repair my soeuer charger ,at the guys shop, i saw so many damaged inverters and charger, since i started using a surge protector for the main source that leads to ups, charger etc, i have not had any problem with my ups, just get a digital surge protector

It's modified not pure sine wave, it has low self consumption so it actually runs longer on the same load and same battery as most transformer based inverters. Then the inbuilt charger is quite efficient, but modified is modified and over time will detiorate Ur sensitive equipments like TV, fans and even Ur blender.

This does not happen overnight but it does happen. So for best performance and protection, pls use a pure sine wave inverter and relax.

Lolz, mercury is better in all ramifications, for me souer will be a last resort. Also DOD (depth of discharge) is better managed with the mercury, as mercury cuts off at about 11.5v while souer can go as low as 9.5v which is bad for Ur batteries, that's why u notice batteries die faster with souer.

But in the long run there are cheap pure sine wave inverters in the market if u're really interested, u could even get a deal on used ones.
