. Not Akeredolu only. I give it to Ondo state and Ekiti state indegine. For example, Late Chief Gani Fawehinmi, Femi Falana,Omoyele Sowore and many more. Kudos to Ondo and White indegine.

Ineffectual Nigerian Police wants to stay relevant and be on top of the situation. They are afraid of potential redundancy.

That is the best way to curb crime and criminality more effectively and efficiently. Each state forming its own security agencies or geopolitical regions, as the case maybe. Look at advanced countries of the world, USA as a case a study, states having its own Police Department. Without that, NPF no fit function well and there will continually be great and humunguous loop holes.
