Apache is a heavy weight category attack helicopter. LCH is a little weight category attack helicopter. So both of them cannot be compared.

Apache is optimised for operations at sea levels. LCH is optimised for operations at high altitudes.

LCH is a stealth helicopter while Apache is not . Stealth is a advantage in high altitudes when flying over mountains which has enemy SAM sites placed on it .

The rigid hingless main rotor of LCH together with the bearing less tail rotor allows for extreme snap maneuvers even in the rarified atmosphere found in the high altitudes. Apache doesn't have the same. Ironically the American Raider X stealth helicopter currently under development incorporates rigid main rotor.

LCH can carry 8 ATGMs not 4 as incorrectly written in the article . And it has already been certified to carry Mistral-2 AAMs.

Why didn't HAL give the LCH a 30 mm to give it a true Anti armour role?

You keep telling me to read books but I can tell from the over confidence that you're the one who desperately needs to. Stalin never trusted Hitler nor the pact. The only thing he wanted was to keep war at bay for as long as possible to properly arm his men, by keeping the Fuhrer jovial and reassured. The deeper intricacies of historical warfare are surely not your forte. Read between the lines when you read.

Don't shoot! Some old info on THE REAL REASON HITLER ATTACKED RUSSIA. Stalin according to defectors had planned to invade not just Germany but W Europe. He attacked Finland in 1939 as a training exercise for his guys but got his arse royally kicked and finally swamped the Finns who handed over 11% of their territory when they signed the peace treaty in early 1940.

The Soviet offensive plans controversy was a debate among historians whether Soviet leader Joseph Stalin planned to attack Axis forces in Eastern Europe prior to Operation Barbarossa. Most historians agree that the geopolitical differences between the Soviet Union and the Axis made war inevitable, and that Stalin had made extensive preparations for war and exploited the military conflict in Europe to his advantage. Viktor Suvorov has argued that Stalin planned to attack Hitler from behind while Germany fought the Allies, and Barbarossa was a preemptive strike by Hitler. Many historians have written in response to Suvorov's views. Gabriel Gorodetsky and David Glantz authored books debunking his claims.[1][2][3] Suvorov received some support from Valeri Danilov, Joachim Hoffmann, Mikhail Meltyukhov, and Vladimir Nevezhin.[4][5]

This is a potential game changer! With its low logistical foot print there's little to stop this system in inf coys for own arty.

There are several factors which determines the selection of weapons or the calibre of weapons.

LCH is a light weight category attack helicopter , mounting a 30 mm gun will increase weight , decrease stability , and increase inaccuracy.

20mm with armour piercing rounds is more than enough against light skinned vehicles and armoured IFV , APC , artillery , SPH etc.

If the gun fails to destroy the target , rockets and ATGMs will do the job

Egg vs chicken. Mein Kampf was published in 25-26, which Stalin carefully studied. He knew full well Hitler's state of mind and plans. Upon you to decide for yourself who figured it first and whose actions would be preemptive.

Engine flameout

In layman's term the engine would have been destroyed completely due to ingestion of the sign post.

Even a small bird if it gets sucked into an engine will destroy the engine .

But since it is a twin engined aircraft , not so much of a problem since the other engine would have kept the aircraft flying

Twin engined aircraft not a problem more or less.

If it had been a single engined aircraft then very dangerous for the pilot
