Dbankermum:

Piedmont in Atlanta? What exactly are the charges for and what explanation are they giving?

I used Eastside Medical Centre recently and the only issue I had was there was with Pediatrix. (Their In house Paediatrician)

Did you pay your bills before discharge from the hospital?

piedmont fayette.paid hospital and docs bill before delivery, few weeks after delivery, the sent in bills for epidural, and their inhouse paediatrician, saying this wasnt captured in the birthing package. this was later paid and we were issued zero balance invoice, then periodically, they would sent an invoice...for another small thing they said they forgot to charge initially, last one i remember was a scan.. and this was supzd to hv been part of the birthing package. and this was after we had told them to chck and ensure they send in all the bills at once, as we are not residents. the thing is tiring, thought they are supzd to be more organized than this

Are the extra bills addressed from the hospital or other practices? You can check them to clarify.
Because to the best of my knowledge, Anaesthetia, paed fees are billed differently and sent from the respective practices. Even bills for things like lab work conducted when you were admitted(if any), scans, etc may be sent different and you get zero balance for each after payment.
The hospital is just for use of facility. Maybe you should complain directly to the financial counselor in charge.

Hello everyone. Please those who have successfully evacuated, can you give a breakdown of how it works. I have some questions.

After registration with the embassy, what next?

Are the tickets to be purchased on the website of the airline or by contacting the phone numbers?

Is it possible that after purchasing the ticket on the website, they dont confirm for travel? What happens to the payment in that instance?

It seems the notice I posted earlier is already sold out embarassed. Please anyone with an idea help me out here. Make una pardon my plenty questions

Please does anyone know the procedure to get on the evacuation flight, I have sent several emails with all my details but all I keep getting is an automated email response.

Do I go ahead and buy the ticket without a go ahead from the embassy?

I think you can buy and send your flight ticket and details to them for confirmation.

Hi All,

Please does anyone have any info on how to travel to the US at this time? With the lockdown of international flights from Nigeria. I hear of Togo or cotonu routes. Is this acceptable for B1/B2 visas from Nigeria?

My due date is in october. I would appreciate any info.

Many thanks.

Anyone traveled after January 2020 ( After Trump ban on issuing visa to pregnant women) or planning to travel next month for delivery?

quote author=mommatriplets post=91542668]

6k is gonna be tough, most sstand alone docs charge 3k to 4k....hospitals charge 4k to 6k, then epidural and other orishirishi....
try piedmont atlanta and wellstar cobb. it would be cheaper if you can get your own doctor that has privileges' at good hospitals.

houston or chicago has cheaper birthing rates[/quote]

Anyone who traveled US for the delivery after Trump ban on issuing visa to pregnant woman in January 2020? Does it effect the people who already have the visa at the point of entry at the airport?
Also Anyone planning to travel in near future for the delivery?

As long as you use/used your visa for its intended purposes and you did not lie during the moment of your visa interview or at your POE, you should be ok. We are still receiving patients from other countries.

That's the way it is. The only way to find out will be for someone else to try and use it to file. If someone is using it, it won't go. The person will be informed that someone is using the SSN already.

So, I was happy seeing the link you sent but on checking it, I found out that you will have to be 18 years to register and view your statement and the transactions that went into it. My child is not yet 18 and as a father, I can't register for her.

Pls help with the contact details of IRS and or of SSN.... I need to confirm the SSN status for my kids. Thanks

As a parents, if you feel that your child's SSN have been compromised, the only thing to do is to contact the IRS or the SSN department.
