Hello guys. My post today is about Limerick city in Ireland where I currently reside. For those that want to come to Ireland or want to know how some basic things abroad work, you will definitely learn a lot. In my YouTube video below, I explained how the transportation system works in Ireland, how to get good and affordable clothes, how to get food stuff especially African and Nigerian stuff from supermarkets, among other things.

Limerick, which is a very cool and quiet city is Ireland's third or fourth (arguably) urban centre with strong economy after Dublin, Cork and Galway (arguably). It is an ancient city on the banks of the mighty River Shannon, with a population of about 100,000.

I started my vlog my showing pictures of the area where I live in Castletroy before taking a public transport to the City Center where most shops including Nigerian stores are located.

I entered the bus my paying with my leap card. A Leap Card is a reusable plastic smart card that can be used instead of paying with cash or paper tickets on the bus. There are Adult, Child and Student Leap Cards available as your case may be.

There are many places to buy quality clothes such as Jack and Jones, JD, Gerard, Guineys, Penneys and others. For students and average income earners, the best place to get good and affordable clothes, jackets, footwear, bedsheets among other things is Penneys. Their items are relatively cheap. You can watch a full tour of the stores in my video below.

They are very good stores or malls to get food depending on what you want. There is Tesco, Aldi, Lidl and others. There are Asian stores and Nigerian shops where food items can be bought at relative cheap prices. You can buy Egusi, Okra, fish, meat, Shaki, Kpomo, cow leg, goat meat, Indomie noodles, yam, plantain and other stuff. They are not expensive.

I also shared a glimpse of some stuff I bought from the African store.

Watch the YouTube video so that you can see more details.

Nice!

What buttons was the driver pressing? You guys don't just tap your bus pass on the reader? I actually heard people queue for busses in the UK. Guess it has to do with the population. The African market is rich, that's super great. How are you enjoying the Irish accent?

Thanks for sharing.

Hello, I don't know what the buttons do but I know after pressing it he tells me to take my card. We place our cards and they charge your card for the trip we do not tap. The Irish accent is nice but I am not even bothered by it
