What about the redeemed Church woman who was killed for preaching
We are talking about OFFICIAL JUDICIAL EXECUTION, not murder but a mob.

Atiku is coming back in 2023, most likely under the PDP, if he needs votes, he must appeal to both sides and do a good job while at it.
my friend if atiku speaks FOR or AGAINST the ruling, I bet you, that is the end of his presidential ambition.
This is a religious matter and religious matters are taken with caution.
In this scenario, I'll advice that he remain mute, and moreover, he neither holds an elected nor appointed position at present that requires him to protect the citizen of Nigeria. Let those saddle with the responsibilities do the needful.

Serial presidential aspirant, Atiku Abubakar, has been trending on Twitter for choosing to keep quiet concerning the young man who was accused of committing blasphemy against Prophet Mohammed in a song he circulated via WhatsApp in March 2020.

According to Nigerian Tweeps, the serial presidential aspirant who is considered vocal and known to air his concerns on policies and issues plaguing the nation has been quiet ever since the news broke that Yahaya Sharif-Aminu, the young man fingered for blasphemy, has been denied access to lawyers even as the 30-day deadline given to him to appeal the judgment lapses on September 9.

Atiku who took to Twitter to celebrate Arsenal's win against Liverpool has since been dragged for being insensitive, a religious fanatic like and political. The likes of Peter Obi and other presidential aspirants are currently being dragged alongside.

By attaching obi here even while reading the whole comment, I never see obi mentioned shows how you guys are afraid of him.

In the words of Hausa-Fulani....let us called them Yoruba because that's their trait of behavior..

Is Tinubu not a Muslim...what has he said?
Is Fashola not a Muslim,..what has he said..

Is is Tinubu own Muslim good in bullion and van and not condemning extremist.

Well, someone who can still with a billion van, a known drug dealer can't be far from been an extremists.

Let him go and contest for president of Yorubaland not Nigeria because he is going nowhere...If not let him take his people out of Nigeria after all he doesn't believe in one nigeria.

Him and his people only believe in one nigeria of stealing other people's resources.

why has your buhari not reacted? if Atiku and obi speaks out, what will happen?
the only person that will say 'stop' and the man will be spared has said nothing and you guys are attacking ppl people that their shout or cry wont change anything.
Channel your attack to buhari, he is the only one that can save the man now.

Can people stop being st.pid for a moment?

Is atiku your président ? Vice président ? Senate président ? Does he hold any leadership position? Same as OBI?

Why not question the LEADERS...your president, vice president, senate president and minister of justice who HAVE THE POWER TO FORCE A CHANGE.

HAS ANY OF THEM SPOKEN ABOUT the sentencing yet?

Nigerians need to stop being unfortunate and actually THINK, before calling people out.

God bless you. they left those who can actually force the execution to stop and focusing on those that their reaction wont change a thing. Has the sultan spoken? has buhari spoken? those Nigerians deserve the kind of leaders they have.

The people should also respect his belief he doesn't give a damn about Mohammed , that his decision the people should respect that
izzou:

There's no influential Muslim living, especially from the North that will speak against this.

As much as we feel this is an extreme use and abuse of power, the young man involved should also have respected people's beliefs.
If you don't believe in Mohammed, why not look the other way and respect other people?

He is most likely going to be killed, and nothing would happen, because this is Nigeria

Must it be only presidential aspirants that should speak out? Why don't you turn your frustrated soul to all those northern politicians & traditional rulers to voice out. Why bringing someone that is not from there or has anything to do with cursed prophet mohammed into to your arguement?

It is very clear that the Christians are the ones supporting blasphemers, it is either you obey the law of the land and move to where u can blasphem or face the consequence of fomenting crises. Two people were sentenced at the same time to death a rapist and a blasphemer but Christians support killing the rapist and complain about blasphemer. Go to Kano and blasphem and call on Peter Obi and Atiku to rescue u.

What is the difference between you and terrorists George W Bush an d Tonny Blair or Crusaders. The most terrorist Scripture is your own which orders the killing of the Amalekites with their infants or babies men and women, ox and donkeys and everything that has life. Whose prophet or master do you think said " I am not come to bring peace but a sword"? Scripturally, the most violent book is the Bible, this fact you should know if only you read! And Christianity is the father and mother of terrorism. Have you bothered to read the history of the unspeakable atrocities the crusaders committed in Jerusalem against muslims and jews? Have you bothered to know the untold wickedness the Christian Lord Resistence Army wrought in Uganda? Have you bothered to know the unimaginable terrorism Christian colonialist did in Africa and Asia and Latin America? When it comes to terrorism, you don't have a single moral leg stand upon! You think everyone is ignorant like you? Read history esp that of the church, young man!

If you ask me, I don't think he should ever comment and I hope he doesn't cos his opinion won't change anything. After all, the guy in question, if he ever voted, am very sure its the government that wants him dead on account of blasphemy is the very one he voted for. If anything, he can only plead that the man's life is it will matter but comment on religious side, never.

When people with good intentions campaign, Nigerians don't or won't come out to vote those that will defend them but when they feel short changed, they will be looking for stand here and there like we didn't make our stand known during elections.

Stand kee them all there

Let's forget about Kano for a minute brah since Kano is not their constituency. Why hasn't Peter Obi commented on the Ipob vs. Dss matter?? I recall how igbos/Igbos always come here to drag and blackmail Tinubu and Osinbajo for not 'speaking' whenever any thing happens in the SW. Na una turn to tell us why una messiah Peter Obi is conspicuously silent concerning what happened to Igbos in Enugu. What is good for Tinubu/Osinbajo is also good for ibo leaders.

Whose messiah?? All Nigeria leaders are useless and no single messiah from them.. Am not like you that idolize politicians the way your lot idolize tinubu... As for Peter obi, he is as useless as the rest of igbo leaders who keep quiet in the face of their people oppression cos of political wants especially their ohaneze, down here in southwest we have afenifere that will forever speak up against tyranny even when tinubu asslickers will abuse and malign them.. But tinubu have never spoken for the yoruba race also except when in opposition, we can still remember of his "where are the guns and herdsmen"..

This is why I didn't vote for either PMB n AA in 2019. I keep telling people that they are both core Muslims, Hausas and would never do anything against the north. I kept telling people that AA would never restructure anything. He is just playing to the gallery at least PMB was straight forward by saying he doesn't believe in restructuring. Both men are the same,no difference at all.
