I think people have gotten too used to the era where it was easy for Nigerian players to falsify their ages to get into age grade tournaments, that they have refused to embrace a technology like MRI that has proven to be quite effective in reducing the rate at which overage players make our u-17 team.
We are already reaping the reward through players like Osimhen, Chukwueze, Iheanacho,Ndidi, Awaziem,Omeruo,Nwakali, Awoniyi,Uzoho...

More will join the list..

Imagine somebody saying his 25 years old friend will be our star man at d next u-17 tournament .. cheesy .

I don't know but I always believe that a player is close to the age he claimed to be especially when he passes MRI Scan -- maybe because I trust the technology based on what I read. I 'll likely continue to do so until I have first hand experience and enough reason to doubt our dear MRI.

However, when a player joins overseas' club directly from our academy, I'm largely in doubt maybe because, I've seen a lot malpractices.

Reasons for my doubt? Let go bit deeper.

There's an academy in Enugu-ukwu onwned by Catholic diocese of Awka. In this same academy, 3 priests are known as decisions makers. When I first heard about it, I was happy but seeing their players, I got disappointed. Players are advised to get affidavit in order to have chance of going oversea.

There's one program from Dr. Ifeanyi, I think it's called a footballer in every family or something close to that, I can't remember. In this program, some of standout 'young players' are from this Catholic academy and lucky for them, they got a clubs in Uzbekistan, etc....these guys are young officially, their 2016 photo go support say Dem dae young.

**Some players that look younger are actually the oldest. I know two boys from Gboko and the other one from Anambra with this feature

** There's another one, a fine young defender who would have been in Serbia if not for injury.

** One of the fastest player there is over 30, he's from Calabar with no beards.

** One of their product was released from contract in abroad because of age cheat, I don't know how they find out.

** Their player was with Aigbogun's U-20 last year or so. He's a midfielder but was latter dropped.

Infact, in that academy,,,, 95% are age cheat, It's a normal practice there.

Though not all academy are like them but not far from them.

As for MRI, I have no reason to doubt -- Not yet!

Your affirmation is what you want us to hinge assurance, validity and authenticity on?

Then if so, apply same for others as regards Nigerian lads. That's not much to ask for... No matter the permutations at play.

Oga, I know Victor Moses story. I do not need your copy and paste.

Were you in primary 4 when Uzoho finished secondary school? That is what I am interested in.

You blatantly lied there. Why should anyone take you seriously?

oga nerdy... Please don't bring Uzoho into the conversation ooo... I was still in primary 4 when Uzoho finished secondary school... I'm 23 now .. he is 22 grin .. isn't the lord a miracle worker cheesy grin

Oga.. That was my original post... As you can see, that statement was only indicative & not conclusive wink ... I never stated categorically that i had met Uzoho in person or even know him... You guys only deduced what you wanted from my above statement

Meanwhile, Uzoho @ 17 says hi wink ... Baba literally had to shave off all his beards and hair just to look young grin

Claiming you were in primary 4 when Uzoho finished secondary school, makes it seem like you knew him, when you clearly didn't. And what is wrong with that picture? Do you have a copy of his birth certificate, or are you just here to practice your clown act?

Stop making jokes out of someone's life and reputation just because you are on the internet. It is disrespectful, and incredibly low. If you are desperate to crack people up, you can post clips of Dave Chapelle or Russel Peters stand-up sets here. You people can never come up with something new, it is always the same tired jokes. Stop trying to crack jokes that are staler than bread from Buhari's first stint as Nigeria's Head of State.

You have not met him in person but you are making bold assertions that you were in primary 4 when he finished secondary school.

You even said, you did not want to expose him on public forum. How were you going to expose him before without information?

When you are called out on your lies, it is now "indicative."

The Anatomy is "basically" the same everywhere be you Caucasian, Eskimo or African. So stop this nonsense. You are not in the medical field. If I show you the skeleton of an African and European side by side, you won't see much differences at all. Only very minute difference(s) can be picked out by forensic experts and by people like me who is in the field. So Biko, stick to football and leave Anatomy.

That's Abdullahi Alfa .
I'm sure u remeber him from Iheanacho's u-17 set..

Maybe Zaidu isn't 23..maybe he is.. but it is totally wrong,(pardon me) and dumb to judge his age by his look...
A lot of people look way older or younger than their age!
Unless we have some more convincing evidence about his true age, there's nothing we can talk about..

The dude is fast! .age plays a major role in determining how fast a player can sprint on the pitch..
Most footballers at 30+ loss most of their pace... But this Zaidu is fast!

Look at Musa, some people alleged that he is over 30 or close to 40, but he is easily faster than a lot of players in our current team...

Musa is faster than all the players in our team

This issue will definitely continue. According to a report by ScientificAmerican Fifa has no business testing that shit on us. Subsaharan African teens were not even included in the study that made MRI testing a mainstay in youth football. If this is true, that would be terrible.
