oga nerdy... Please don't bring Uzoho into the conversation ooo... I was still in primary 4 when Uzoho finished secondary school... I'm 23 now .. he is 22 grin .. isn't the lord a miracle worker cheesy grin

Oga.. That was my original post... As you can see, that statement was only indicative & not conclusive wink ... I never stated categorically that i had met Uzoho in person or even know him... You guys only deduced what you wanted from my above statement

Meanwhile, Uzoho @ 17 says hi wink ... Baba literally had to shave off all his beards and hair just to look young grin

You indeed have a very 'creative mind', creating things out of thin air.
You believe the MRI is not accurate and you are very sure your 24 years old friend would be one of those the MRI would miss...interesting

As the MRI is not accurate and other 24 years old plus can scale through, you also believe that your friend would be the star of the team, so nobody regardless of age can be better than him. You my friend not just a creative mind but divine powers

All these arguments here about nigerian youngsters being age cheats is inconsequential IMO. A 25yrs old claiming 16yrs to gain entry into our U-17 team no concern me as long as he delivers the expected results. At the end when his mates (football age) are still balling at 30yrs+, baba would be almost 40 and worn out, a reason why we hardly see Nigerian born players at 35yrs in top level football.

However make we no dey try defend an age cheat like uzoho when it is very obvious he isn't whatever age he claims. A 16yrs old Nigerian player in our U-17 team would be 175cm tall, in the next 5-8 years same player is still 175cm.
For me height/growth is the major determinate for an age cheat because scientifically a normal male should encounter at least one growth phase between 16-20 before growth ceases, whereas almost all our U-17s claiming 16/17 no dey gree tall pass their height indicating they weren't anywhere close to the claimed age.

Make we dey talk truth, every OAU student know a certain part 4 student (star player aka aguero) that was selected as a midfielder in our recent U-17 team (2019) and baba passed MRI?. How is it possible that a 16 yo is through with 400L before being called up to the team?. Last last 95% of every player na age cheat even osimhen self, but I no fit judge them because na the best and only way to enter europe for them (young age).

What is wrong will forever be wrong no matter how we try to justify it, we all know these things happen and when the issue comes up some people act like typical Nigerians and try to justify it. As if it is unusual

I get your point man. Every U-17 tournament we see african teams like 9ja, mali and co dorminating their european and american brothers due to the age difference. Fast forward to U-23 and senior national team set up, we africans yansh go open and na trashings we go dey receive. Even european scouts know most of the youngster we parade are actually matured men buh continue to tolerate our folly.

@ bolded 1... Are u referring to Uzoho?
He is listed as 1.96m tall on Wikipedia and transfer market.. U can drop a picture of him with the u-17 and let's compare with his recent pictures...

@ bolded 2... You obviously didn't watch our last 3 sets of u-17 very well...
Go bcak and watch the 2013 and 2015 set very well... Was Iheanacho 6 ft tall in 2013? What about Osimhen??

@ bolded 3... Maybe u should mention the player's name.... I don't recall any midfielder nicknamed Aguero in the last u-17 set..

#1. I have limited knowledge on uzoho so I can't say his height back then. From the pictures around 2015 till date I see no height difference.

#2. Osimhen was listed as 1.85m at 16yrs back in 2015, now 5yrs later he still haven't crossed that height. Picture quoted from transfermarket about our U-17 team (2015), compare their height back then to now (5yrs later) and you will see little or no height difference.

#3. Elyte answered this already, Amoo is very popular in OAU community winning deans cup and VC cup with Chem eng and Faculty of Technology in his part 3/4 days. He was picked by U-17 team during NUGA games and he played in our 2019 U-17 team. It is a known fact, every OAU football enthusiast know aguero of chemical engineering.

MODIFIED: see the ages and height of our 2015 U-17 team, some claiming 13yrs!. How can a normal 13yr old boy be selected for an international tourney?

I'm very happy you brought up the point about height i decided to check the squad list of our 2013 u17s

1. Nigerian squad Uzoho's height highlighted in yellow

2. His current height also highlighted in yellow.

let everybody see and be the judge. As much as we have had age cheats in the past or even in the present let us learn to judge each case on its merit not on our biases or cynical mindsets

well for Osimhen his height was listed as 184 now 186 which is still ok plus anecdotes about his time in school and brief time in his academy make his age seem legit. his looks physically also help.

Nobody is justifying anything. It is not everybody/players that resort to age cheat and it is totally stup.id to make conclusion on people age based on facial feature. If you can't accept their age because of your mentality, then the joke is on you because you don't have any proof whatsoever to debunk it either, so what's the fuss about the whole arguement?. Uzoho age is 21 so accept it and stop using the nonsense stereotypical statement "Naija people na age cheat" or using their facial feature to calculate their age. It is nauseating. So if I drop my Pic here u go think say I be 25yrs cos of my soft face abi.

Eberechi Eze won't add to his international caps at youth level for England this month, with the English Football Association officially confirming on Wednesday morning that the new Crystal Palace signing has dropped out of the U21 squad.

Young Lions boss Aidy Boothroyd has handed a late call-up to Brighton & Hove Albion defender Tariq Lamptey as a result of the unavailability of Eze and Chelsea's Reece James.

Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka has retained his roster spot for the European U21 Championship qualifiers against Kosovo and Austria on September 4th and 8th respectively.

The English Football Association informed that Eze has returned to Crystal Palace, however, he wasn't involved in yesterday's friendly against one of his former clubs, Millwall.

Nigeria Football Federation President Amaju Pinnick has gone all out to convince Eze to switch his allegiance from England to Nigeria but the playmaker requested to be given some more time to make his decision, with a focus on his club career much more important to him at the moment.

Nigeria offered the London native his first opportunity to play international football when he was invited to a Super Eagles training camp in March 2017 but he couldn't make his debut after a proposed friendly with Burkina Faso was cancelled.

A former England U20 international, Eze became provisionally cap-tied to his country of birth in November 2019, playing the last nine minutes of an U21 EURO qualifier vs Albania

I don't care about their age because age doesn't play football. If you are good you are good as long as you ain't vying for age grade competition. So you wanna tell me that our under 17s from 2013 upward are all age cheat? Or do you wanna tell me they passed mri because the machine was faulty?. The joke is on you bro. A black man will always think another black man is a cheat just because they've unconsciously makes black synonymous to "dishonesty". Y'all need to emancipate yourself from nonsense stereotypes attributed to black people.
We have a long way to go seriously. That was how my fellow Naija guy came to my site office and saw how I was being respected by my safety assistant (Asian) and site engineer as per my position as safety advisor. He said "Kelly, na wa oo, which charm dem give you from benin to get this kind job, mehn I wish I go fit kill you to take your position". Despite the fact that he kn my qualifications and experience as hse professional and yet he still refused to acknowledge the fact that I got the position based on my qualifications and experience. My point is... Average Nigerians always like to resort to negative assumption when dealing with another black person. That is what some of you are doing here. Sanusi is now in porto and y'all think he is older than his age. Shebi na una born am?.

Y'all should free yourself from nonsense stereotypes attributed to african. Finito!!!

Sanusi is now in porto and y'all think he is older than his age. Shebi na una born am?.

Y'all should free yourself from nonsense stereotypes attributed to african. Finito!!!

This story is unnecessary and you cannot use your friends reaction to justify your claims on this age cheating issue so this talk of Nigerians always resorting to negative assumptions is from your OWN experience nothing more and it is not the same with everyone else

At the bolded, I'm sure from the whole arguments no one has suggested that all Nigerians are age cheats so you cannot come to that conclusion okay, I've never had any reason to falsify my age and that is the same with a lot of people but that doesn't mean people don't falsify their age for various reasons

It used to be rampant in our age grade teams though not as before it is still an issue and that is the truth and you know it

As per the highlighted, Are you saying because no be me born this guy we should all agree that he just looks older than his age and he can actually be 17?

if he is a white guy you will believe his age but you find it hard to believe cos he is black. Take my advice..

Emancipate yourself from mental slavery and from nonsense stereotypes wrongly concocted and attributed to African!.

Black is not synonymous to "dishonesty". If you have proof of his true age, oya tell us. The joke is on you

Emancipate yourself from being delusional, You're trying too hard to make a lie to be the truth and it will not work

Africans attributed whatever stereotype associated with age cheating on themselves I don't understand how you will still blame others as though they made the selections for you

my personal experiences is relevant because it is a testament to the fact that y'all resort to negative assumption when dealing with your fellow black. Why would you believe the age of a white guy even when we decide to use the same measurement y'all use to unravel the true age of African... The measurement based on facial feature. You believe rooney age despite the fact that he have the facial feature of an old man. You would also believe the age of vinicius (real Madrid teenage player) despite the fact that he looks old. Yeah, you believe their age because they ain't "African". White is synonym to "honesty" to you.

So why are you finding it hard to accept sanusi age? I'm talking about sanusi and uzoho.

see how you are shamelessly dancing naked in broad day light. You refused to accept the fact that people can look older than their age but you want us to believe the age of rooney, costa, zidance and vinicius despite the fact that they all looks older than their ages. I don't even wanna tag you delusional because "delusional" look good on you. You are just plain stupi'd and still suffering from mental slavery. It is people like you that shameslessly blush when a white person smile at you.

Use the same measurement... Facial feature.. to judge the age of all players (white and black) since that's now the yardstick you wanna use to unravel the true age of people. Cluelesspersin!

It is only an African that will take one look at somebody and say his age. African science cool

MRI mbanu.... not always correct
suffered under african heat..mbanu we are all suffering... cool
Go to his village to investigate his christian birth card..mbanu..too tedious undecided
Do a personal interview with the mother to find the true age..hum..its not possible..it is even insulting to the mother... undecided
Then how do you find his true age...? Na we we nah..we know ourselves wink

In my own experience Nigerians don't always resort to negative assumptions and the irony of it all is that you're also a Nigerian

At the bolded, There's no working system in place to justify players claims on there age unlike the Europeans and North Americans and that's why you'll rarely hear about players from these continents getting disqualified from age grade competitions

I can give you a list 25 or more African players that have been disqualified since the introduction of MRI scans in 2009

The whites are not more honest than Africans but the system makes it difficult to get away with age cheating
