let's see whether you have an objective bone in your body, the issue we have to discuss today is as a result of the proposed increases to the prices of petrol, electricity tariffs e.t.c. what do you have to say about it? Remember, there is no such thing as blind support here, just give me your honest opinion.

Over 15 Million Nigerians that voted out the thieves, criminals and looters that raped and stole the destiny of Nigerians unborn kids and their unborn kids will most definitely vote them out again over and over.
If your party of destruction and looters that took our nation 100 years back were ruling the nation well, no one will ever vote them out.
FFK, former aviation minister that looted our treasury along with his principals should bury their stupid end in shame.
May God punish all politicians that took our nation down the drain along with their miserable supporters.

I take solace in knowing that Buhari supporters are not exempted from the hardship. You are all living 1983 (his first tenure) back again. History is on loop.

Sebi una say una go vote Buhari even if na bread label he get as certificate? Truth be told, GEJ was equally as bad. The fact is that Nigeria has never had a patriotic leader after Independence. As such most Nigerians don't even know the attributes of a good leader. Some still believe that the best leader is the one with the longest convoy.

\

Inverted hammer, while I agree with your thesis, the fact is, if GEJ had been allowed to increase fuel prices from 65 naira to 140 naira in 2012, we would have been reaping the fruits of more refineries, more investment and more jobs by now.

Instead, Nigerians protests led to GEJ partly emptying our reserves to keep fuel at 97 then 87 naira.

Buhari is doing the same thing.

The truth is, subsidy or underrecovery has to go. In exchange for high prices, we get functional refineries, and with the added bit of privatizing NNPC, we get more investment and jobs, and eventually low petrol prices

I don't like GEJ, but on subsidy removal, he was right. APC is doing something partially that should have been done totally so to speak in 2012.

Okay there was a lot of corruption and embezzlement of public funds during the reign of GEJ, agreed! But shouldn't the reign of a corruption-free government be more favorable? Now everything is in double in just 5 years of take over... Why is everything now going in the opposite direction? Yet the so called corruption-free government is still recovering looted funds and taking loans at the same time without doing something tangible with the funds. This is sickening and saddening TBH!

Recession didn't just happen, people looted Nigeria into recession happening.

Just imagine,
The thieves were borrowing money to pay salary at the time our country was making so much money.
They were burying money in latrines, underground, abandoned buildings, farms etc.

And some swines are telling us we should have left them to continue ruling us?

Damn it.

So because of the nonsense 30k or whatever money you're being paid makes you turn a blind eye to the glaring evil which useless APC has foisted on us. May your life and destiny be like this APC government.

You will continue to blame PDP for the next 50 years, anumanu... angry angry angry

The truth is you are the one being sentimental, COVID happened!!!!! Prices will definitely go up. So many businesses got loans to continue doing their businesses, I personally know over 10 ppl.
Countries all over the world are just trying to adjust, it's not peculiar to Nigeria alone. This is the second quarter GDp of top countries in the world. Hike in Nepa bill is not for everybody.
USA - minus 9%

UK - minus 20.4%

France - minus 13.8%

Germany - minus 10.1%

Israel - minus 28.7%

Japan - minus 7.8%

South Africa - minus 20% to minus 53% (Reuters poll projection)

China - plus 3.2%

My brother, you are still.playing sentimental politics here.In a nutshell what Femi is drawing our attention is the fact that the govt.hasnt done anything to alleviate the plight of the common man on the street.By this I am implying the poor.Go to market and see how expensive food prices are.Is it that you dont u live in Nigeria? Why increase electricity tariff at this time when businesses are barely finding their feet and prices of food stuffs have hit the roof top.
Search you conscience and be honest with yourself.Has this administration been economy friendly to the common man on the street?THE ANSWER IS NO.

You all want removal of fuel subsidy, Buhari listened to your cries. He stopped paying fuel subsidy and now the market forces is at play - determining the price. As expected, y'all crying again.

Honestly, Nigerians don't know what they want. The likes of Ben Bruce and FFK will dish out poo from the comfort of their kitchen, we eat and eat and share with others without checking the ingredients.

We should be happy its not a full removal of fuel subsidy. We for hear weee
You are not serious thats for sure

Why can't Buhari listen to Nigerians and cut down the expenses of government

Who are the Nigerians that asked him to remove subsidy that he claimed is not in existence
