I reject the increased electricity tariffs. Coming out of the lockdown, Nigerians need a stimulus, not an impetuous disregard for the challenges they face. Many Nigerians have not earned an income for months, due to no fault of theirs. This increase is ill-timed and ill-advised.

A friend and I were discussing and he was perplexed as to how docile Nigerians have become under the present government in spite of its harsh policies and decisions citing examples of various demonstrations and protests they have taken place in previous administrations. I simply told him shii is psychological. To imagine how majority of Nigerians solicited support for Bubu back in 2015 with heightened expectations and then he wins but he dashes their hopes, truth is Nigerians went numb/ "weak" , they didn't know what hit them...How would you protest against a man you brought into power and showed so much support to? Nah, you'd only wallow in regret and shame as to how you put yourself in shackles with your own hands
