Thank you so much for the response
I have another question please
The problem is the names on my school documents is different from the names on my national ID card and bvn
For example the name on my school documents are Ada Lucy Johnson and the name on my national ID card and bvn is Lucy Ada Johnson

Can this be a problem for me In future when processing my masters
U are welcome.

No its not a Problem, all u gotta do is to go to a law Court with all your documents & do an AFFIDAVIT OF CONFIRMATION OF NAMES, so any application u will be submitting, always attach this Affidavit to them.

Note: The format of names that's gonna be written for your International Passport registration (if u dnt av one yet) will be the names (as arranged) you will continue to use for School Admission, Study Visa Application etc., cos any application e.g Canadian Visa Application or skool application in which your name is asked, they will tell you Write your name as it is bin written on your International Passport

Hi Eficator,
Congratulations on your admission to University of Saskatchewan.
Proof of funds : You can definitely apply with 1 year of living expense (i.e.,5million naira- $10,000) + 1 year of tuition fee + some extra charges.
They have accepted applications with fewer funds but its better to be safe from the beginning.
I believe your parents can actually stand as your main sponsor while the MaJ gen can be your Co-sponsor provided he’s willing to write a letter of sponsorship stating why he’s sponsoring you, the relationship he has with you, what he stand to gain after and all.
You need to proof that he has been of help to you in the past too, a simple screen shot of a certain amount he sent to you some years/months ago should do.

P.S.The above answers are just my thoughts/opinions.

All the bestest Sir/Ma’

Thanks so much

It's not a problem as long as your surname is consistent and your other names are all there. You don't have to get an affidavit or anything if you have something like:

Johnson, Lucy Ada
Or
Johnson, Ada Lucy

Notice that Johnson remains consistent as surname. However, if Johnson changes roles and is used as first or middle name then you should swear an affidavit. Also, if one of your given names is omitted in one document, that is also fine. As long as all your names are on your passport.

One more thing. Always make sure that you sign the family declaration form. Hand signed. Print, then sign. I didn't sign this form in my first application. So, I strongly believe that it affected the last year's application. This could be the reason for. ***NO FAMILY TIE in HOME COUNTRY****.

You don't have to print and sign any form if its an online application. That wasn't the reason for the rejection. Something else must have gone wrong.

In my opinion, this application is a good candidate for judicial review because it appears that the VO has introduced a personal bias.

The applicant must have met all the criteria but the VO probably picked a line in her SOP and felt jealous. Am sure she even switched off afterwards.

Let gurus here also comment.

daalade1:
@frankrobbn1 @Lekiboboe @rebeccausoro @Osemigho @JustMellow

A friend's study permit application has been denied unofficially. Her first application was refused in 2019 because the proposed 2 years diploma program (Database Administration) "is available for less online or in closer geographical location." She upgraded to Graduate Diploma and reapplied on May 29, 2020.

St. Lawrence College, Business Analytics, Fall 2020
Paid 1st semester tuition: $12,582.70 (CAD)
Application Status: Eligibility review ongoing
NO AIP or MER
Age: 31
Works as Manager in Hubby's company
Monthly salary is N325k
Personal account balance is N10m plus
Self-sponsored but Hubby is also supporting
Hubby's account has N12m plus and earns N600k monthly
GCMS Note received today shows: REFUSED

Her husband wants me to help them review the LOE but I am not qualified to do that. Please, can the gurus help us point out what is "self-serving" in the statement? Thanks!

AIP only is not a sure guarantee for final approval as boldly spelt out by IRCC. But AIP with MER is almost a confirmation of receiving a positive decision.

All that is done here as regard to AIP including mine are mere speculations based on individual research and observations which may or not be in favour of our laid theory. Hence may make us say you were wrong and I was right. I don't know but I think nobody can authoritatively say a gotten information was shared by a VO in confidence to the person's discretion.

So, it may not be right to use too many definite words when sharing certain information especially in regards to this AIP thingy whether you are very sure or not. If anyone has taken time out to read from IRCC website, therein, you may realize the reason why IRCC uses words like may, could, if and the likes even when they understand this rules clearly.

Make we rest for this matter. People must surely get approval and many refusal go still dey wella. From the onset, refusal dey always plenty pass approval. For this debate, we all duh do well to support and oppose. This duh make people wet no be get the deep understanding about this AIP know the two sides.

As of 31st August, 2020 eehhh! I have counted about 7 refusals whose GcKey account still shows the normal under review et al. They were all July 19th downwards applicants. All without AIP. The notes will provide more clarity.

Your name has no issue. Canada reverses your Prenom and Nom. It’s all good. I’m from Cameroon. Have seen this with a couple of people from their schools.
Make sure you follow this when applying for your visa. Check your Prenom and Nom on your ID / Passport. You will get to understand proper.
You are good.

It’s been stated clearly. If you are submitting online, you don’t need to sign any of your forms. You will be requested to sign digitally. Don’t print out anything form. Just upload. Make sure you Fill correctly and have dates inputted & N/A where applicable. Go through about 3 times. This has been outlined.
Printing that form to sign would be dirty work.

How will she even know what to correct in her reapplication?

I think the grammar in her SOP matters. Like how will her certificate serve her community or country upon her return...

Good morning my people, pls I need una help. I am scared of submitting too many webform.

I applied for study permit since Aug 4th,
Got biometric request Aug 5th
Did the biometric on 12th Aug.

Surprisingly, my profile still reads "Your attention is required" till date. However, I can see from applicant details section that I have biometric number as well as the expiry date. I am a bit confused, the system sees I have biometric info but is still waiting for my action.

I have submitted the web form under technical error. I got a donotreply email on the Sept 1, with the summary of my escalation but no changes yet. This thing is worrying me oh. I applied from Istanbul.

Thanks for your contributions in advance.

What are the ages of your children?
It may be that they are underaged and the VO feels that you should be with them, subsequently they may feel that you will eventually request for them to come over likewise your husband. I think , or I would suggest that if you wish to reapply you do so with any underaged child. That may bring more credibility to your application.
I hope I've helped.
