Yall quick to quote me without understanding what I wrote in my earlier submission. It was very clear; wait time.
I still finished my point with bolt is deceptive.
What's the use of waiting time when the rider can cancel after keeping you waiting for long and most likely to make another request therefore not paying for cancellation nor waiting time.

The point is ur waiting time will b added to the fare, when and if only the ride made it to the start up stage grin

But a dubious rider that knows the flaw just like me would rather cancel then request again.
I have not been penalised for cancellation and I have also avoided the paid waiting time.

Please I would like to ask of any good conventional/mineral oil of the 5w30 grade I can use for a 2004 Corolla. I have searched wide and it's the expensive synthetic oils I always see in that 5w30 grade. The cheapest I have seen is Mobil Semi synthetic locally made 5w 30 at 5500 naira. I have been using it but it shorts at 2500km so I have to top up one litre and use till 4500-4800km then I go for service.

I prefer frequent oil changes so I don't want to use expensive synthetic 5w 30 oils.
Good things don't come cheap........ Which cost more quality engine oil or replacing your engine.. USA quality engine oil is now more affordable than ever .. You just have to know where to look .... ... don't be penny wise and pound foolish .. With quality oil you change oil less frequently and save money .... Just use full synethtic oil and quality oil filter, you change oil every 7k miles ... saves you money in the long ...

Depending if you got the car tokunbo or naija used.. Check for oil leakage ,seals and Pcv valves before you decide to fry your engine with 20w50 palm oil ... if you got the car tokunbo and you have been using the manufacturer recommendation 5w30, than it might be just an oil seal or ring that causes small shortage.. But if na naija used , you are on your own o

How about waiting time inbtw stops nko?? That's should have been d reason for this new price review and not just wait time b4 start of trip. If wait time inbtw trips is being charge N24/min then you would see no rider would want to keep a driver waiting for too long.

That guy you just quoted has a very valid point. I've had a rider cancel and did another request after I'd waited for almost 15min. When she was ready to get to me she cancelled and quickly requested again because she knew I was the closest driver to her.

And when I complained to BOLT as at then, "we don't advise drivers to wait for up to 15min for riders" was the reply I got. I just said in my mind "i blame una".

I did not quote out of right or wrong, just having fun... life is not fair, you don't expect everyone to be fair around you, what matter is u being able to go to bed and sleep with peace of mind. If you feel the rider cheat on u, u have the right to wash em or her.

Today I got a request, call rider, after the blah blah... there goes the big question, where r u going too? Can you car go to Asaba she asked, be coming jhoor, she end call... gently I stayed put and she call, oga where r u nah? Me: Madam stop disturbing me please, end dis trip and stop stressing my life. Also today, I got a request, after all the blah blah, got to pick up point and call the rider, she said "I'm coming out" only for me to see rider cancelled. I didn't even feel any tin, man! This game nah give and take, just don't b at the receiving end always.

So update on the Nissan versa i posted earlier . (1.6L).

A member from this thread came for inspection and test drive today, and agreed he likes the car and could go on with HP.

Conditions are

- first payment of 300k

- 2 gurantors

- 15k payment weekly till compeleted (10months)

- car will be given in serviced and fully functional condition on “pick up”.

- i willingly plan to give him first week off payment (payment starts after two weeks)

- he has 3 days grace period from start of the purchase agreement to report or return the car if any issue and get a refund (none though).

.

So in all honesty, i think this is fair deal. Pls can someone put mw through on what to put in place to not allow default? And are the conditions good enough for this “period” or nothuh Am i making a smart decisionhuh

The “Driver” hasn’t paid yet, also he is a new driver. Yes he sounds nice , and looks decent , but I’m slightly skeptical about being “new” on the platform. which i told him

Any guide pleasa? Sorry its my first HP. Doing it cos i got another car and not using this much again.

Got my car tokunbo 2003 Camry a year ago.
Had been using 5w-30 Hardex full synthetic oil since I got the car.

But just about 3weeks ago I notice my oil dropped slightly.

The check engine light isn't on

What could b the problem

Hi,

Anyone looking for a driver for weekly pay?

Driver is new but is trustworthy and I'll stay a guarantor for the guy.

Upfront weekly payment is not a problem.

With the down payment of 300k, you dont need to be skeptical.
The 15k weekly is fair enough to the driver, you may advise him to increase to 20k if he can, the earkier he finishes the payment, the better for him.

Give the young man a chance, being a new driver isn't supposed to be a stumbling block. Everyone of us was once a new driver. We only create a fuss around being an old driver on the platform, every smart person will quickly adapt and learn on the job within the first few days.
As a new driver on the platform when I started, I did only uber and I was doing very well.
The most inportant thing is driving skill.
