Even in war, the international law of the Geneva convention makes it a war crime for a Soldier to kill an unarmed enemy Soldier.

The Royal fathers condemned the killing of unarmed Igbo youths and warned the DSS not to ever repeat such. They wondered why the security agents were after unarmed IPOB when armed Fulani herdsmen were all over Igbo land killing people every day
