At 30%!. you want to build your debt profile instead of Credit.
Anything more than 16% is a no-no for me.
according to them, the 2.5 percent is for the 3months duration of the loan
Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by ojesymsym: 10:08am On Sep 09, 2020
This sounds like 10 percent PA.
What do you want to do with the money, will it just be sitting in your account unproductive?
Can you pay back the loan with your salary or income source within the period of the loan or you will just help them keep the money (in their bank of course) and return it with interest at the agreed time?
If you have other means of paying, you can invest the money in the stock market, spread it between Zenith and GTB. I believe those stocks as at the time of writing this post are good stocks to have.

I don't have need for it,clarified it's 2.2 percent monthly
Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by ojesymsym: 10:34am On Sep 09, 2020
I always find the use of monthly rate as deceptive. That 2.2% will translate to 26.5% PA. That means, a 10M loan will have an interest of 2.5M. Is 2.6million lost (imo) a good way to build your profile?
Like someone rightly said, you probably would be building your debt profile and not your credit profile.

If he's a need for it and a viable business. There's nothing bad in taking it. We win some and lose some in life. That someone took a loan and things got bad for him doesn't mean the other party will experience such as well. Many businesses out there survived on loan and they are doing fine in as much as its okay for them. Don't make it sound as if taking loan for a business or personal thing is a bad idea sir. In as much as its okay for the the person. It's up to the collector! I come in peace!

Sir, I wouldn't dare do such a thing sir, but the person I am responding to has consistently said that he doesn't really need the money, he just wants to build a credit profile, so I was only asking him if losing 26% is worth the risk.
I can't remember him ever saying he needed it for business, if you did, kindly draw my attention to it.

I read the part where he said he doesn't have a need for it too sir. It's how you sounded as if even if there's a need for it, loan isn't a good idea to source for funds that made me responded that way.
Sorry for the misunderstanding sir. Do have a good day.

Taking a loan for a personal thing which is not going to earn you any money is a bad idea.

Look at this scenario sir, you wanted buying a car for your personal self in which you have a need for the car at that particular time and you have the full money, a flexible and very low interest rate loan offer came up, you will agree with me that, some people will collect the loan to buy the car and use the intended car fund for another money generating feasible plan. It's based on individual differences though. I myself cannot take a loan for personal things other than for business but some people out there can do it in as much as it's okay for them. It's up to them.

I am a fashion designer @viewsclothing on IG and my wife; a baker @khalisha_kakery and a makeup artist @khalisha_empire ... We are in need of 1m to 2m naira loan ... To setup our workspace/showroom ... ALL TOGETHER (I as the fashion designer already have a workshop, i only need a show room but my wife has been working from home) You can check out IG pages, you will see that the loan would be utilized as we have built a niche for ourselves...

If you have any idea how we can go about this, please let us know. God bless..

Good luck getting the loan. Truth is, I would have love to run loan company, but I can't afford the risk of establishing a loan company in Nigeria, No assurance that debtors will not default due to the bad economy policy in your country coupled with one of the most essential needed.....Electricity.

Why not go for First bank commercial paper instead of tbills, this is the rate as of yesterday 09/09/2020
3% for 182 days, 3.5% for 273 days and 4% for 364 days. The rate can be increased for 200M and above.

Good morning all,
I have a business I am into and I need a support or probably a business partner.
It's all about importation of used iPhones, laptops and other gadgets from deal hunters here on Nairaland and I sale when it arrives Nigeria.
I have being running it successful but I just need a bigger capital to expand on it.
Ask me any questions here or slide into my WhatsApp let's talk.

See, I have called a bank customer service and talk for two hours, the lady ended up wasting my time without giving me tangible answer, and keep trying to make me see reasons to invest with her bank instead of TB.......Disappointing.

I don't have time wasting e-mailing I need direct answer.

IB Is just less than €3m, because your exchange rate is so bad makes it seems just too much, if you have insight if what is going on and the investments on stocks over here, you will really see son one losing over €5m on Dollar trades just in a second, because of reckless speech from trump on Twitter,I like him though but he should keep shut, each time Putos wants to make a public speech, I'm always on my nerve for the sake of my USD investment.
1m € is big money any where bros .less than 1 percent of the 7bn souls on would ever be wort 1m € .
