Even outbound passengers can register on the portal.

so even outbound passengers have to take the test too?

I'm confused here.

My friend is travelling to the US on Sunday. He got everything all set and is ready to self isolate when he arrives. My question is, does he need the test to board the plane?

He has to check the country criteria for entry.

Check the portal again. There is option for those leaving the country to register and even select test center of choice.

They are mad and very lazy. Other embassies have resumed work, what's delaying them?

Has anyone tried booking a flight from Canada to Lagos? Even though Nigeria government says Lufthansa isn't allowed to fly in, during booking on Air Canada website, i keep getting flight options to be operated by Lufthansa. Has anyone come across this as it's all totally confusing.

What is the rule that applies for someone that want to spend only 5 days in Nigeria. I have a program to attend in Nigeria for just 5 days in November. Traveling from the US. Thank you in advance.

i think you should wait till like October ending for more information, the guildlines would have been updated by then, thats like 45days plus from today, so calm down, anything can happen.

Abuja Airport. It was smooth and seamless. Not to forget about the new look of the international airport, it's amazing.
Just be on time at the airport.

Depending on the country you are going. If they required the test result, then you need to pay for it and do the test here in Nigeria at least 24hrs before your departure.
To be on a safer side, if you are leaving Nigeria just do the test.

Turkish airline to Germany

What was it like stopping in Istanbul and also when you arrived Germany? Did you need to do another PCR test?

It was great, not crowded like before. Although it's difficult to get a seat where you can relax if you have a long waiting hours. Due to the social distance, Chairs are demarcated.
A team of hygiene are available at the airport to make sure Full use of Face masks.

Wi-Fi is available, you have two options of logging to the WIFI in instanbul airport.
1. Mobile Login: You make use of your phone number to register and a verification code would be sent to you. (Just 60min access).
Provide another new number if the 60min exceeds (in case you have 2 SIM cards). MTN works smoothly in instanbul, although 60Naira per incoming calls, while message is free.

2. WIFi Kiosk. There are some available, it's also free of charge. To get access to it, after scanning the WIFI network , sign in and select the second option instead of MOBILE.
Then input your International passport number and create a password, to create the password:
Swipe in your International passport in the WIFI kiosk, A password would be generated. You have just like 18 seconds to get the password. Advice: Just make use of your phone camera to take a screen shot of the password on the WIFI kiosk. or if you are a fast in typing , just stay on the page after inputting your passport number

If your last PCR test was done within 48hrs before arrival in Germany.
You won't need another PCR, you are to fill a locator form with your details and where to stay within the next 14days and you are required to self isolate. A fine of 25,000 Euro is imposed for false information and not adherence to the protocol

Just arrived from Germany this morning. Aside from the tests there's not so much difference.

Oga, can you elaborate us on the process of travelling from Germany to Nigeria. Where did you do your test in Germany. And how possible was it to evade the 48 hours scenario. I mean to get tested and enter plane and present the results to the authorities. Which airline did you use? Did you encounter any problems on arrival? Did you quarantine?

Thankyou Ahmed4002 for your information. Well detailed and much appreciated. I want to get the necessary information about travelling from Germany to Nigeria. That the test must be done within 48 hours is somehow unrealistic because I was informed by someone here that usually the result of the test takes more than 48 hours before you recieve it.

No, from Germany to Nigeria. You have don't have worry much about it.
The test results can be within 96hours if you are a Nigerian citizen.

You need to login to the Nigeria portal page and register your information and pay about 50k for second test result to be carried out in Nigeria some few days after your arrival.
