The question we should be asking now is how did Christ love the Church? Christ did not love us because were submissive to him. In fact, the scripture record that Christ died for us while we were still in open rebellion against him. pheew! What a love! Men who are adulterous, vile and lascivious are also quoting this scripture (Ephe5:22) in other to massage their ego and innate pride.

You as the husband who is the head and representative of Christ upon the earth, responsibility begins with you first. I say it again, responsibility starts with you the man and not the woman. For every messed up home I blame the husband who is the head, just as Nigerians blame Buhari for the suffering and insecurity in the land. Husbands love your Wives as Christ loves and cares for the Church and see if she won't submit herself spirit, soul and body to you. Let us preach and teach love and submission will naturally occur.

Amen. I am praying For every family that has been badly shaped because of ego. You penned the facts. Pride is the devils favourite sin. If we rebel against humility, we should know that something is wrong, that we are resisting the virtue to defeat the devil.

Are you able to show, anywhere in the Gospels, where Jesus Christ, the Son and Truth of God, commanded that His followers submit in any way or form to any man?

Jesus Christ never gave any man the authority to represent Him in this world. He is the one and old Master over all those who follower Him. He made this very clear in His teachings.
So, any teaching that suggests that a follower of Jesus Christ, should submit on the bases of gender to another, is not only evil teaching but anti-Christ in origin.
Jesus Christ warned His followers severally against putting themselves in positions of authority over their fellow believers, or any others for that matter. In the Kingdom of God, Jesus was clear that there are no genders... for all those who become His followers are one, Children of God, and He is the Head over them all -- no other head.
