So someone in the FEC meeting brought the idea of giving 10 thousand naira as loan to the masses. buhari and all members of the FEC agreed to that. Can't u see how stupid they all are. When they make stupid decisions they should expect stupid results.

The thing make sense for your head?

Even you, will u agree to this trader Moni scheme of u were president or any member of the FEC.

To answer your question, YES the thing makes a LOT of sense to me. That is how everything in life is done - you start small. That is how it is done in the UK, US and other developed countries. When a child is born they don’t come out of the womb and start walking.
The government said start with 10k, let’s see how things go. If it goes well we will increase the loans to 50k, then subsequently they will increase it to N100k!!!! Has the government not tried?

The people refusing to repay the loan will destroy the programme. The government will have no choice but to cancel the programme. Is that what you people want?

I keep stressing the point that our problems are not created by the useless leaders but by the USELESS PEOPLE inhabiting Nigeria!

If govt wants to start small they should start with 100k.

US and UK did not start by giving people 20 dollars as loan.

U can even see that the beneficiaries details were not collected. Obviously the money was looted within the govt and didn't get to the masses.

Ok, start by showing us the evidence of the bolded otherwise you are just talking carelessly like a lot of ignorant Nigerians.

The government cannot afford to start with N100k for millions of people. How much is the consolidated income of the federal government per annum? Again if you have evidence to the contrary please show us.

The truth is educated Nigerians need to stop talking like illiterates in beer parlours and isi ewu joints. We need to use our education to look at the facts and analyse government problems and limitations objectively less you will be talking rubbish.

Buhari made a lot of promises without a full knowledge of Nigeria’s very limited financial capacity. Don’t fall into the same trap and stop talking nonsense.

Buhari don't act decisively on those who found of corruption .
chibuzorAbia:

Ok, why did you blame Buhari? Why?
Bihari’s job is to authorise the release of the funds once discussed and approved by the Federal Executive Council (FEC, the cabinet). After this, the appropriate ministry will disburse the funds to State Ministries (for disbursements, monitoring and recovery), obviously timed to coincide with the elections and to the benefit of APC as the ruling party.

Buhari has discharged his duty and done well for ensuring the money was available. The Finance minster did her job making the disbursement to states available. The states have done their job by making the CASH available to the beneficiaries (the people)

Now it the time for people to do their civic responsibility, which is to repay the loan so that the programme can continue and other people can benefit. And those who benefited from the 1st tranche can increase their borrowing.

What the people are doing (not repaying) WILL KILL OFF the programme. Nigerian people continue to behave like lawless animals......how is the system supposed to work?

We heard earlier today about a job advert in a company in Nigeria requesting for “Indian applicants only”. A company operating in Nigeria that is not prepared to employ Nigerians......not prepared to take the risk of employing fraudulent dishonest lazy lawless Nigerians.

SUFFER should kill all of una!!!

Please STOP blaming the president. Let us blame ourselves the Nigerian people for all the ills in our society. We need to focus on the people and our bad ways, that’s where the solution to our problems will come from!!!!!

Thank you

Really? Buhari should do what exactly?
Go and arrest them himself? Be the judge in court by himself? Put them in prison by himself? Go and find the evidence by himself? Be EFCC by himself? Represent the government in court by himself? .................

Until every Nigerian realises that we (our dishonest ways, our cheating, our crookedness, our lawlessness, our indiscipline, our lack of family and personal planning, etc etc). Until we address these issues we are going nowhere.

In the last 20 years the government has allocated Billions and Billions of dollars to government institutions, where has the money gone? In the pockets of Nigerians who don’t give a hoot the consequences on their fellow Nigerians! What type of animals are we?

Do u actually leave in Nigeria. I don't think any reasonable person leaving in Nigeria still taking our govt serious.

Imagine what u said
"Buhari made a lot of promises without a full knowledge of Nigeria’s very limited financial capacity"

Someone coming out for the position of a president doesn't know the finical capacity of the country. Meaning he didn't do his research about the country, didn't make any plans but he is the president. How can such person even make good decisions.

If they knew 100k was too much give out as loan, why not use the money for something else rather than sharing 10k. One of my jacket is worth more than 10k and m not even rich. Things are so expensive in Nigeria 10k is absolutely nothing.

I don't need to show u evidence that the money was looted when govt officials start giving flimsy excuses, u should know what's up.

Or the snake that swallowed 30 million naira do u need evidence b4 u believe the 30 m have been looted.

U can choose to believe what ever tho, but I have been in this country for too long to take any politician serious.

Keep quiet and learn.

To think it's the same set of people that will go ahead and condemn politician of their corruption baffles me.

When you will do worse if given a snifling of power. Disgusting!

the spirit of entitlement prevalent in most Nigerians is one that should scare all and sundry. from the RICH folks owing AMCON in billions and the poor who would rather not pay back petty loans designed to continually help them grow their businesses but would rather sacrifice the goose that lays the eggs

You are apt but it's unfortunate this case is even more catastrophic because the giver doesn't even know who he gave the loans to. How do you want to recover loan from a ghost? The giver must be naive , stupid or corrupt but personally think the last 2 option suffices.
