ibuildstuff: To answer your question, YES the thing makes a LOT of sense to me. That is how everything in life is done - you start small. That is how it is done in the UK, US and other developed countries. When a child is born they don’t come out of the womb and start walking. The government said start with 10k, let’s see how things go. If it goes well we will increase the loans to 50k, then subsequently they will increase it to N100k!!!! Has the government not tried? The people refusing to repay the loan will destroy the programme. The government will have no choice but to cancel the programme. Is that what you people want? I keep stressing the point that our problems are not created by the useless leaders but by the USELESS PEOPLE inhabiting Nigeria! 2 Likes |

chibuzorAbia:If govt wants to start small they should start with 100k. US and UK did not start by giving people 20 dollars as loan. U can even see that the beneficiaries details were not collected. Obviously the money was looted within the govt and didn't get to the masses. 1 Like |

ibuildstuff: Ok, start by showing us the evidence of the bolded otherwise you are just talking carelessly like a lot of ignorant Nigerians. The government cannot afford to start with N100k for millions of people. How much is the consolidated income of the federal government per annum? Again if you have evidence to the contrary please show us. The truth is educated Nigerians need to stop talking like illiterates in beer parlours and isi ewu joints. We need to use our education to look at the facts and analyse government problems and limitations objectively less you will be talking rubbish. Buhari made a lot of promises without a full knowledge of Nigeria’s very limited financial capacity. Don’t fall into the same trap and stop talking nonsense. 1 Like |

Lipscomb: Really? Buhari should do what exactly? Go and arrest them himself? Be the judge in court by himself? Put them in prison by himself? Go and find the evidence by himself? Be EFCC by himself? Represent the government in court by himself? ................. Until every Nigerian realises that we (our dishonest ways, our cheating, our crookedness, our lawlessness, our indiscipline, our lack of family and personal planning, etc etc). Until we address these issues we are going nowhere. In the last 20 years the government has allocated Billions and Billions of dollars to government institutions, where has the money gone? In the pockets of Nigerians who don’t give a hoot the consequences on their fellow Nigerians! What type of animals are we? |

chibuzorAbia:Do u actually leave in Nigeria. I don't think any reasonable person leaving in Nigeria still taking our govt serious. Imagine what u said "Buhari made a lot of promises without a full knowledge of Nigeria’s very limited financial capacity" Someone coming out for the position of a president doesn't know the finical capacity of the country. Meaning he didn't do his research about the country, didn't make any plans but he is the president. How can such person even make good decisions. If they knew 100k was too much give out as loan, why not use the money for something else rather than sharing 10k. One of my jacket is worth more than 10k and m not even rich. Things are so expensive in Nigeria 10k is absolutely nothing. I don't need to show u evidence that the money was looted when govt officials start giving flimsy excuses, u should know what's up. Or the snake that swallowed 30 million naira do u need evidence b4 u believe the 30 m have been looted. U can choose to believe what ever tho, but I have been in this country for too long to take any politician serious. |

haryorbarmie83: Keep quiet and learn. To think it's the same set of people that will go ahead and condemn politician of their corruption baffles me. When you will do worse if given a snifling of power. Disgusting! |
Re: ‘Trader Moni’ Beneficiaries Unwilling To Repay Loans –NSIP by idahme(m): 5:20am On Sep 11, 2020 |
ojokolax: You are apt but it's unfortunate this case is even more catastrophic because the giver doesn't even know who he gave the loans to. How do you want to recover loan from a ghost? The giver must be naive , stupid or corrupt but personally think the last 2 option suffices. |
