It this is true, I will be more than happy. Oga emma, I never see this news anywhere o.
Will be sold at scrap value, the technology is outdated.

51% share was sold for $1billion by Obasanjo in 2007, before NLC led by Oshiomhole asked Late Yar Adua to reverse the sale which he did.

In the 2019 annual report of one of the refineries, a total of over N20 billion was paid as salaries in a company that did not generate revenue and did not make profit

This is breaking news. FG to sell its shares in the 4 refineries.

Definitely the group of investors that will buy essh of the refineries, will invest more than N1 billion.

If they get it right they should make huge profit from the investment.
This is real good news. I hope the FG will have the political will to see it through as the Unions will want to start making noise and go on strike.
Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by ojesymsym: 2:39pm On Sep 10, 2020
Even if it 200 thousand naira they want to sell it, they should sell it.
That 2007 reversal was disastrous, one of the things I wish never happened.
If you have a link to the news, I go like read am abeg.

I will even support the FG to sell each for N1. The sale reversal of 2007 was a great disservice to this country.

lol... u are a wicked sombori.

Ironically, I have been trying to remember what side of the argument I was then, but what ever side I was, reason should have prevailed by allowing the sale to stand even though I know that OBJ waited too late to the last minute of handing over to sell it.

The second thing that should not have happened in that same 2007 around same period was the nonsense power sector probe. It was ill timed and partly responsible for the poor power situation today.

Thanks.

I just read it, it does not seem like a definite plan yet. When government wants to do something, they do it and throwal face but when testing the microphone, they come up and share plans such as this with the public.

My fingers are crossed though.

Surely that's the rule of the game, barely FOUR DAYS of CBN's resumption of FOREX to BDC's and we are back to square basement grin

Panic speculators rushed off to dash Aboki their dollar at N420 while the Lions are in it for the survival of the fittest. It may jump to N520 before year end.

To export Stock Fish. I got this funds within 48 hours and made profits of 110k in it, I took 40% and other contributors shared the rest. This is a country that works.
Believe anything this person says at your own peril. There are many like him on Nairaland and this thread is a hot target for them... they throw around audio figures and achievements, packaged with a lot of faux knowledge, hoping to attract gullible investors to part with their funds.

I know many might have already seen through his antics, but for those who haven't, look through the attached screenshots.

Fbn quest is doing well but stanbic is not encouraging, as at yesterday rate was 3.8. They've not been performing well since the fall of Tbs.

Did he get money from you? Did he dupe you?

Did he make a promise and failed to fulfill it?

If he has not done these, it will be very wrong to call anyone a scammer.

Anyway guys here are smart, informed, knowledgeable and conservative, it will be very difficult if not impossible to fall for any pranks antics or get rich quick Investment schemes.

For now he has not solicited for funds or marketed any investments so there is no cause for alarm.

There is cause for alarm.

Just because you and some others are knowledgeable and informed does not mean everyone who visits this thread, seeking investment opportunities, is. Would do my part to alert such people when I have evidence that something is fishy.

Did you look at the screenshots before asserting he didn't solicit funds from anyone?

That can't called soliciting for fund, wanted to render service for people interested in traveling out of Nigeria and for students who wanted scholarship.

His professional fees is between $20,000 to $30,000. If one is not interested because of the cost one can try other people who offer such services.

Nigerians should learn to do due diligence, we should not be desperate, cautious optimism is important, risk management can't be relegated to the background. We should also be very careful of smooth talkers or writers

Yes, we should all do our due diligence. We should also be our brothers' keepers by flagging discrepancies to alert others.

Can't debate much, unfortunately. The information has been posted to alert those who need it. The diligent ones can ignore.

In the 21st century, if you still need a middle man to arrange a scholarship , then you don't deserve to get the scholarship.

All the information is online for free.

How much then is the value of the scholarship?
If these are "fees", then I am the president of Nigeria.

Of course.
I'm just agreeing with the previous poster that any transaction wherein "fees" of such an amount are sought to "arrange" a scholarship is objectively unlikely to be legit.
