When we warned you ppl, you were doing 4+4 sign and kept shouting NEXT LEBUL! like mad goats.

We are enjoying the dividends of your tribalistic voting

I will survive even if fuel sells for 500 a litre.

Let those that voted Buhari protest and collect some bullets.

Anyone still against the Removal of Fuel Subsidy at this Critical Economy Time should be seen as Enemy of the state.

We should instead be concerned about the processes that should follow after.

The deregulation of the Oil sector Is another commendable efforts.

Nigeria Must be better. And We the citizens must be ready to make those sacrifices.

No Gain without Pain.

They told us it has been removed that was why we were buying at #145 before

So you don't know the price will change based on international price if crude? So if subsidy is removed, it will always be 145 no matter the price of crude? Lol!!!!

We have too many E- Nigerians and no matter how Nigerians are pushed to the wall they still will do nothing because of fear of being arrested and brutalized by the security outfits.. Big shame

FG was paying subsidy and we citizens still suffer high transportation fare. It's better we continue like this while the government should find a solution to the high food price

Subsidy removal doesn't mean the price will not go up or down anymore. It actually means the price will fluctuate according to the crude price in the global market.

Please keep up with news. Nobody is setting price anymore. Go and Google that information.

Also, fixing price and subsidizing a product are 2 different things. Govt can set price without subsidizing. It depends on how low or high the set price is compared to market price

No need for all this ...the truth remains Nigeria doesn't need to go back to Subsidy again, subsidy only made friends of any sitting president super rich without any work or creativity being exchanged for such work and it bled the ability to save of a poor country like Nigeria .. Any protest now will just make the fragile Economy to get worst and I don't think the govt will budge not because they don't have empathy bit because the can't afford subsidy as it is now ..

Bros, can u pls explain how a protest can make an economy get worse? What makes d Nigerian economy fragile?

Meanwhile, Buhari & d rest of d political class and their families eat free food, drink free water& drinks, wear free clothes, read free newspaper, enjoy free internet & phone calls, free air and road transportation, free medical care, free electricity, free water, free security, free entertainment & DStv, free accomodation at home& abroad and several other freebies we don't even know for doing nothing. Pls who is paying for all these freebies. is it d American economy that is sustaining d freebies?

interesting to note that no one is talking about the electricity hike.. does that mean no one is ready to sponsor that protest? i know d fuel protest is sponsored by those enjoying from the subsidy... but seems we are all okay with the electricity hike. from ₦22 to ₦55 per kwh. but we want to protest 148 to 161.

I just don't understand why citizens can't demonstrate freely in a democratic nation.
To think that they want the youth to come out and protest again the government knowing fully well how protesters are treated is heartbreaking.

According to u:

"Nobody is setting price anymore."

So u mean d price just moved from 145 to 162 by itself? Are u sure u aren't d one in need of Google?

What exactly is d "market price" u are referring to compared to.d "set price"?

And whose fault is it in the first place?

No salary cuts in the federal, state and local govt elected officials pay package, unnecessary recurrent expenses and co.

This is the worst time to increase or remove anything.

What the govt should have done was to increase the tax on the rich, cut the salaries of political individuals, etc.

Instead they worry the masses with unnecessary price increase of items and consumables

Let all Nairalander and sane Igbo out there hear me clear.

Pls where are the igbos in this particular issue? All the people that are protesting, shouting against this wrong decision by Fed Govt are all from SW and the North and at last if they fight these battle to victory my people will come and say 2023 is our right, oh Yoruba are coward, oh Aboki are silly now I can see who are cowards and who truly deserve to rule Nigeria.

When it come to fighting for the masses the SW and The North will put their lives online while we the chest beaters From SE chicken out then come later to claim super human.

That is all I have to say. Good day.
