No need for all this ...the truth remains Nigeria doesn't need to go back to Subsidy again, subsidy only made friends of any sitting president super rich without any work or creativity being exchanged for such work and it bled the ability to save of a poor country like Nigeria .. Any protest now will just make the fragile Economy to get worst and I don't think the govt will budge not because they don't have empathy bit because the can't afford subsidy as it is now ..
Bro na you talk like this?

Somebody help me check it's like this account has been hacked

You people never learn, mumu for theory, @ every point in time fuel was hiked ... subsidy removal is used as justification. How many times we wan move subsidy.
GEj govt hiked pump price cos he removed subsidy.
Buhari came on board, discredited subsidy regime only to turn around and use same subsidy removal to hike price frm 97 to 145,whats d probability december they won't tell us subsidy again, lies!! the truth is our govt don't see there followers as people who have sense.
fuel was selling for #145 even when it sold $60 per barrel, is it now that its sell for $41 per barrel nigerians should be exploiedfor #162, nnpc source with a subsidised xchange rate

Why not check what fuel is sold for in other oil-producing nation that equally refine their crude?Pump price in the bulk of them is higher than Nigeria despite that their government still sudsidize it.

Before asking me to go check pump price in other countries did you put certains things into consideration, like cost & standard of living, minimum wage and value of there currencies.
Moreover can you compare the demand of pms in nigeria to anyother country with stable power supply, in those countries you sited a citizen can go a whole year without need for pms, car owners can abandon there cars for trains, high price as little or no effect when the commodity of interest is not a necessity.

Usual yoruba noise.

The ship has sailed already. Go back to your bowl of gbegiri and enjoy the dividend of 'Chainji' you tribalistically voted for in 2015.

Myopic tribe who can't see beyond their nostrils.

Let all Nairalander and sane Igbo out there hear me clear.

Pls where are the igbos in this particular issue? All the people that are protesting, shouting against this wrong decision by Fed Govt are all from SW and the North and at last if they fight these battle to victory my people will come and say 2023 is our right, oh Yoruba are coward, oh Aboki are silly now I can see who are cowards and who truly deserve to rule Nigeria.

When it come to fighting for the masses the SW and The North will put their lives online while we the chest beaters From SE chicken out then come later to claim super human.

That is all I have to say. Good day.

The East will not be allowed to pay for your lack of foresight and ethnic stupidity as exemplified in the 2015 elections where you yorubas were guided by primordial ethnic sentiments in the casting of ballots.

The Wise men from the East knew the disaster that you foisted on the country in 2015 and prepared mentally for the negative fall out, some of us saved our hard-earned Naira in dollars and cryptos, some of us opened new branches of businesses to erase the negative economic consequence that we saw on the horizon as pragamatic thinkers that we are.

There is a reason why I call yorubas 'Utopian simpletons', you enjoy deodorized lies and avoid embracing painful truths unlike the Igbos who are practical thinkers. That's why you generally make poor businessmen. You are not pragmatic but too idealistic.

Like you said when we warned in pre-2015- 'There is a new sheriff in town', so buckle up for the bumpy ride ahead and stop trying to wish away facts that stare you in the face. grin

Lets use oil producing Angola as a case study.
$1 equals to 607 Angola Kwanza while Nigeria is $1 to N420
Minimum wage in Angola is $34 while it is $75 for Nigeria.
Despite been a smaller Country, infant motality rate in Angola is higher than Nigeria.
Inflation rate is higher in Angola compared to Nigeria.
It is also worthy of note that only 43% of Angolans have access to electricty compared to Nigeria's 65%.
Nigerian leaders have failed us but we arent the worst in the world and we should support cancellation of the subsidy regime if it would truly translate to more savings and more infrasture development for the Country.

Mr propagandist you are lying there is no subsidy on petrol the government is just paying for its stupidity of importing fuel, when it came to power promising increase our refining capacity, because they know that is the way it should be the government failed in its promises and you want Nigerians to pay the price while the failure of a government is balling, stop this your propaganda of removing subsidy, if we follow this your stupid argument there will never be an ending to subsidy removal,be wise.

you are enemy of the people who have been hired to confuse the people, the government is not paying any subsidy,it is just passing unnecessary cost to Nigerians
You can talk of subsidy if we produce in Nigeria and Nigerians are paying below cost price
Stop your rubbish comparison and make sensible comparison that inspire progress not retrogression.

I don't know why you think justifying your F9 with another person F9 would make sense to anyone, and as a matter of fact nigeria top angola in the chart of poorest country in africa 2020, checkout the GDP per capital. link provided

Maybe you intend saying we are not the worstest grin buh as far as english is concern nigeria is not bad rather our retrogression is epic n worst.
How many times have we (nigerians) been through this subsidy bullshit, from 65 - 97, - 145 was it not all about subsidy removal. by december these same govt will hike to #200 n tell us they remove subsidy, the truth is our leaders see us as fools & gullible that why they promise us the sams thing every time & dish out same lies to us. nigeria easily forget

So what happened few months ago when the price of crude oil crashed? Why didn't we see a corresponding decrease in fuel pump price?
We did in March from 145 to 125. Check the record please.

I have been thinking for a long time about how to switch to an electric car and if fuel prices continue to rise, then it will be so. I'm not going to sponsor anyone.
