You begin to hear the checks and balances in part 1, part 2 and part 3 of their sermons. Singling one sermon to criticize a preacher is not right in retrospect.

Long gist on that end, can't get into the bulk of it..lol . But just imagine NL arguments/disagreements, only much more refined.

On the issue of obedience/submission, I very much agree with her. I even made a similar explanation to someone on your thread about dominant men where I told her that submission is not the same thing as servitude.

And like the Pastor said in the video, most people interpret these things based on their own perspectives (I would say psychologically-influnced human perspectives), not that of the Bible.

It's the reason why these women will hear the word submission/submissive, and their guards just go up... Mental

Regarding sexual positions, this bit particularly did generate a lot of talk in there. Summary from the ladies was, a man will still cheat if he wants to – doesn't matter if his wife hangs from the ceiling to fück him.
Well, that's true but then I figure that the Pastor is referring to marriages that were already godly to start with – meaning marriage to a good man with principles.

Pastor Funke is good people in my opinion anyway. I don't agree with everything she says, but she ain't bad... I can tell

She is a great woman. You can't encounter her or be under her ministration and not love her!

When you call yourself a pastor and your entire sermon is about sex and different positions, and all your other topics are of a wordly nature, then you're simply a clout chaser and in the wrong profession.

I've nothing against her but I'm not a fan. I'll stick to my American pastors like Dr. Charles Stanley, Priscilla Shirer, Bishop T.D. Jakes, Mike Winger (a systematic theologian)!
