It's good that Akwa ibom sons are making moves on developing their state, but the funding for an ocean terminal is massive, I wonder if he has the muscle to secure the funds for it or how viable the project will be if Ibom deep seaport comes alive!
That will be two deep ports competing with each other.

One might face the fate of badagry seaport which the FG reneged on because it was too close to Apapa and leki seaports

Yeah, but from my research about them I think the started thier since 2009 which will have been almost 11years of dreams but from the recent photos and recent pix all over the place like this below..
It's seems they are in for it..

The recent approval of the biggest free trade zone by federal government to Akwa Ibom state has really make it possible for us to easily attract investors...
You know in a free trade zone area you no longer need federal government approvals for land acquisition and others again..

I went online to search for port notel Singapore and found none. This project has been floated since 2010 and nothing to show.

I mean the Nigerian promoters have been nursing the project since 2010 but I didn't see any connections with Singapore.

I dont buy the excuses but hey seeing is believing. If the wanted free trade zone the could got registered to get that before Akwa Ibom stepped in. They never submitted applications to either agency that approves them.

It didnt say they applied for OGFZ. The OGFZA website list proposed free trade zones and they arent listed anywhere.

Are u resident in Akwa Ibom cos I am. I need ur help am in need of any job in the construction sector now to do. I studied Geoinformatics and Surveying in Uniuyo but am not yet done cos of school lockdown but am in my finals. Can u assist me to get a job whether construction or not?
