Nice one. Happy to see a young man get involved in farming. Nigerians should farm more and produce enough for self sustenance. It will go a long way to ease food availability and also reduce the hike in food prices that crops up because of lesser competition.

The continued over emphasis on the oil industry is quite worrisome with fluctuating global oil prices et al. The agricultural industry needs to be revived.

6. They have the most complex digestive system in the animal kingdom. They can go upto a year without food.

7. They are cannibalistic. Older crocs eat new borns or young ones — that's why mother crocs usually put her babies in her mouth.

8. They lay their egg outside of water, buried inside sand. At the right time the egg will hatch itself and the baby crocs will locate the river with their sense organ. The mother can locate them too via sense organ.

9. Baby crocs can live on it's own immediately after birth but sadly it won't survive the cannibalism of its kind, so they need their mother.
10. The temperature of the environment/sand buried in, determines the gender of the crocs before hatching.

Before i joined Nairaland i used to hate snakes but due to Lala's constant bombardment of the frontpage with snake posts, i can say i am now completely neutral to snakes.....thank you lala.

PS: on a lighter note if lala becomes Nigeria's president we will be exporting snakes to other countries
