Hello family, been following this thread as a guest and I appreciate the work everyone is doing to help each other. I have a small issue I want to clarify.

My POF has been complete since last year when I thought I'll get ITA from back to back draws of dec. Anyway, fast forward to this year and I decided to use some money for business to earn more funds during Covid19. Now I've gotten ITA, I'm expecting the balance of 400k from a colleague I did the business with to be returned back to my account which will bring my funds back to being above the minimum. Hope it wouldn't be a problem when I submit my bank statement? Pls I need your advice

Hello,
If anyone needs BCS study materials, you can message me
And I am willing to swap my spot in a private whatsapp tutorial group (with one of the BCS training centres) with someone else as I won't be writing BCS any longer.
All of this at a small token less than 45k.
can I get the materials too? Thanks in advance

Good afternoon everyone. Would there be a need to inform IRCC is you change jobs while your application is being processed?

I don’t believe it’s necessary but just do it incase they decide to confirm reference...

Others can chip in

Hi,
Does the new job affect your application in anyways? If not there should be no need informing them Post-AOR.
You may have to hold off updating ur LinkedIn/Facebook profile with the new job though to ensure consistency with the job u used to apply.
What's stated on CIC website is to inform them of any change that may affect ur application (Passport/Spouse/Newborn/Divorce)

Cheers

hi,
In addition to what @Dimple said, the business partner could add the service or goods paid for in the Transaction Narration when making the payments. You can highlight that easily in the LOE.
400k(~1,355CAD) is not a huge amount that should raise suspicion so rest easy bros

Hello guys,
i have a question.
My wife is the primary applicant and we intend to use gift deed as POF. the gift deed would be paid into her account.

i am thinking of opening a mutual fund account that we would transfer the POF into. would it matter that the mutual funds accounts was recently opened?

So i would like to know if that is advisable?

Hi,

Try and get extra cash in addition to the 400k, because of the free fall of naira.Even if it means submitting your application slightly late. This would help avoid any technicality. Some case officers judge things strictly by the book.

Thanks

You shouldn't be worried. If you still are, you could write a letter of explanation but just go straight to the point, don't waffle so you don't say something that would be cause for concern.
