Anyone that knows how theives operate, let alone, Fulani Bandits, should know that they were never going to release him alive.
They'll check his phone and his ID card. Once they see he is a Security Agent, he is as good as dead. At least that is what the survivors have said.

You know Nigeria is in trouble under Buhari when DSS staff now raises money to pay the ransom of their colleague kidnapped.

Now the irony is that if Nigerians had come out to protest against the rise in insecurity, the same dss would be sent out to arrest the protesters

However bandits in this parts of the world, they just need to know u re well connected to raise funds and boom!

The DSS should have known that their guy talked or was known to his abductors as an operative so his chances of survival is nil

Let me tell you guys, our security apparatus is a big shame, they lack capacity to respond immidiately to attack or mount a counter offensive on-site.
