You're kind of right though, but the main reason why he didn't teach them the game was because he didn't want his Children to be involved in drug dealing.

The primary reason Reina got killed was that ghost was a bad Father. Although he wanted his kids to live a legit life, he should have atleast taught them self defense and how to survive when things turn against them. One of ghost's obvious flaws was that he was a bad Father despite the fact that he loved them.
I believe Tommy will be a better Father than him

For ghost the game was a means to achieve his dreams, but he couldn't pull out and he faced the consequences of his choices. He and Tommy are still my favorites.

And you expect the son who is observing and seeing all these to still be loyal to his father.
Ghost was the architect of his own downfall.
Tariq will be a better version of ghost and watching Tariq in the series is like watching the life of ghost from the beginning.

Plus the history of love between them, man couldn't stand on his feet. I believe he would still have cheated on tasha though because at that point in time he seemed unsettled and things wasn't going on smoothly between them. Tasha already noticed too

Tariq getting into drugs was the choices he made. There is no way ghost could have prevented him from going into drugs besides peeps at his age will always want to explore.
Before ghost presented him with an option to face the consequences he had already told him he will take the fall for it. Besides it was karma that befell ghost cos he did the same to his mentor, not kanan and tariq had to carry it out.

What makes you think Tasha didn't train her kids very well. She practically raised tariq and apart from tariq going into drug and trying to experiment which boys at his age does. He is a brilliant kid and very smart which no one can take away.
