Congratulations to them. And meanwhile PDP said rain was responsible for their poor mega rally today. So what happen to their umbrella? Watch out for APC mega rally on Thursday where Obagone will be given yellow card before the main red card on Saturday. 2 Likes

Asour: Sorry about what? Tell me a country that can boast of oil with good agricultural land, healthy citizens without weird types of cancers all around, brains that we keep losing to foreign countries and the ones we fail to develop locally? If only we had combined these things right from the beginning, you won't have been brainwashed into thinking you are inferior to anyone. Look at the herbs we discard here, isn't it the major ingredients in many of the modernized drugs big pharma is selling to us at exorbitant prices. Now tell how the sad state of the country is a joke to anyone? 1 Like |

This is why he is far better more qualified to lead all Ibos and Nigerians once as an Head of State, Twice as a Democratically elected President, a feat no Ibo man dead or alive has ever achieved . 3 Likes |

lucasalves: As humans we are not inherently better or worse than other countries nationals. Priding in one's natural resources (including arable land) is a joke because you did nothing to earn them they were bestowed on you by God. Now give examples of your nation's successes not potentials. That's what counts. By the way many nations on earth have those things you've listed. E.g. Brazil, Malaysia, Russia etc. God help us though. I am really not happy with the country's state. But I hope to do better within my space first. 1 Like |

Thedeadman71: Wait Yoruba is putting mouth in how we should sell oil? what is this one saying? when they have been selling cocoa and exporting other products before white men knew Nigeria had oil. You would find that without the influence of the useless North trying to capitalize on revenues from the South the country will not be where it is now. How they make the money is of no concern? Really? Seriously I would like to know what school produced you right about now. The most hardworking people in this country are from the south. No one is interested in sharing money equally, we simply ask the government to provide the basic needs of its citizens and it keeps failing time after time. Next time you feel the need to jump and comment on topics, read it out loud and ask yourself if it makes any sense. 4 Likes |

Asour: I literarily just listed these things combined with our brain power but you just glanced over it, I won't say you should learn to read but reading slowly will probably help out in these situations. Aren't the countries you listed doing well because of their ability to utilize both natural and human resources. What I clearly stated before you started yapping on was "if only". 2 Likes |

lucasalves: That's the probllem.... You thnk you caan get rchh by selling cocoa palm il and gold, and stuff., when the problem is, that's not how countries get rich One eyar, Ghana sold cooca for 2 billiion USD. A chocolate company took part of that cocoa and used it to make products worth $17 billion The problem is, you dont want to use what you have to make products that you can sell for huge profits. You want too sell cocoa, and use the revenue to import stuff. Whose value exceeds your exports. Meanwhile, the money is made elsewhere. And you get into debts. There is a reason why China and Germany are rich and Nigeria isn't. The thing is, you want government to share the money fairly. Thats not how world beater economies work. You use the little you have to make yourself useful to the world. 1 Like |

Thedeadman71: Man man.... Is Ghana anywhere as big as Nigeria, Thailand, Vietnam deals majorly with rice exports guess what? they are 10 times better than Nigeria because they know how to position their products in the world market and are not lead by some clueless mallams. Common sense will say if you are selling sth for 2billion and the company is making 10 times more than you then its time to reposition yourself and up the price. Guess what from that you have money to develop other sectors of the economy (that's how economics works). Where the hell did I mention government sharing money fairly? mate anyone with a working brain will know if government provide the basic amenities like 24hr electric, security, good roads the country will attract a lot of investors who obviously wants to make money selling to the largest population size in Africa. Seriously the quality of graduates our education system in this country keeps churning out by the day is alarmingly disturbing. |

lucasalves: You want to be a rich nation, you industrialize, not sell cocoa , palm oil or groundnut. You also buy things like power and fuel at a price above their production price so that the people who pproduce these things can invest in better equipment and thus give you power 24/7 and fuel without scarcity.. |
