Unless you claim these are the original names of these places. Are you aware that at some point the Igbos were calling Calabar 'New Onitsha? You guys should just stop deceiving yourselves.

Portharcourt has since expanded to include many other areas but most Igbo speaking people such as the Ikwerres, who are the original owners of the land, still call the city by its original name of 'Iguocha'

There is no community or any Ikwerre ancestral name called Iguocha. So it’s not the original name, the original name for that part of Port harcourt is “Rebisi”

It is you igbo migrants who referred to it as Iguocha which became popular today.
