Be informed that the Federal Govrnment in collaboration with the Central Bank of Nigeria and in partnership with NIRSAL Microfinance Bank just recently approved a 50billion naira credit facility as palliatives to cushion the effect of the covid 19 pandemic as measures to help household, small and medium scale businesses and large companies to get back on their feet.

You can get loans for up to 25 million depending on your choosen category. This loan is payable in 3 years with a 1 year moratorium at 5%-9% interest rate annually. Loan amount for the household category is categorised into 3.
100k-500k
500k-1.5mil
1.5mil-3m
Other categories promises more cash of up to 25 million,but with certain requirements.

Requirements for household
* Guarantor form: serves as you collateral
* Bank Statement of Account of up to 6 months
*Two passport photographs
*BVN
*valid email
*Phone number
*Duly completed Application Form
* Loan Application Letter etc

hi , so many applicants are waiting on the reply of the microfinance bank. So lets all be hopful and patient too. If after this week no reply then i think, a visit to the bank may be helpful. Main while, ensure you safe your documents to be mailed with your name, cross check the emails provided for variouscpurpose like the one for bank statement and collateral. Good luck

First of all get your guarantor form ready. Read the instructions carefully. Approach anyone you know that is either a Medical practitioner/ Banker/ Civil Servant of Grade Level 12 and a Chartered Accountant to guarantee your loan application. They should include their BVN , Phone number, Employment I.D Card , and a valid means of I.D such as National I.D/voters card/ international Passport and attest that they know you well.

call me if you want to register, nah just 1500 i they charge. Mainwhile, the address for the bank is at 10 Hospital Road in Old Port Harcourt Township.

yea sure. I will mail u the guarantor form,you get a banker or civil servant of grade level 12,a chartered accountant or that your lawyer friend. They fill d doc,sign,include their bvn and phone number. A passport and scanned copies of their employment i.d and valid means of identification. For your details on the application,we can do that on whatsapp and finally u mail me ur statement of acct that can be easily extracted from your bank app if u enabled email alert for ur acct. If nt ,u may need to get it from your bank with 21 naira per page charges depending on ur bank. Make me chat for whatsapp. Cheers

yes sure you can. The good news is that C.B.N removed the compulsory guarantor requirements.

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has announced via its official twitter handle yesterday that provision of guarantors would no more be a requirement for households and SMEs applying for the N50 billion COVID-19 Targeted Credit Facility to access the credit facility.
